Joali Maldives

Joali is a beautiful, intimate and idyllic island . How it is a bit more special than the other five star luxe resorts is the genuine personalised service in a breathtaking scenery. My jadugaar Ammaty was simple super efficient and perfect . Had amazing days along the pool with lovely chilled Riesling and champagne accompanied with often complimentary tuna tacos and cerviche from my adorable new friend Titou at the pool . Cycling all over this island breathing in the landscape , having amazing food , drinks , with some really amazing management staff , partying with them , exchanging ideas and making new ones as the resort helped reset the mind and offered a total rewind. Never really used to socialise much on breaks but found a great connection with the general manager Sheefaas, who so genuine and authentic in his concern for the guests and yet so well read and we discussed books galore . It was not a vacation only . It was a special beautiful relationship with the island . And on my birthday I got spoilt like a true princess . I was Gigling away and what a jackpot I hit by celebrating my birthday here! What an amazing resort ! I am coming back !

The villa itself was simply spectacular, spacious, beautifully designed, and seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living. Waking up to the turquoise lagoon and ending the day with unforgettable sunsets felt like a dream we never wanted to wake up from. What truly sets JOALI apart, however, is its people. The level of care, warmth, and attention to detail is unlike anything we have experienced before. Every team member made us feel genuinely valued and at home. A very special thank you must go to the General Manager, Shifaz, whose presence and leadership are clearly reflected in every aspect of the resort. His dedication to excellence and heartfelt hospitality truly elevate the entire experience, and it was a pleasure to see how passionately he engages with guests. He has a wonderful team with him! Dining at JOALI was another highlight, each restaurant offering a unique culinary journey, with impeccable quality and creativity. Every meal felt like an experience in itself. JOALI Maldives is not just a destination; it is a feeling, one of serenity, beauty, and genuine connection. It is, without a doubt, one of the finest resorts in the Maldives, and a place we will return to again and again. Thank you for creating such unforgettable memories.

My husband and I just spent five days and four nights here in absolute happiness and tranquility. We loved the environment and the food. We stayed in a water villa, and every morning we woke up to the breathtaking beauty of the Maldives—it truly felt like a blessing to open our eyes to such a view. Our butler, Thithi, is a thoughtful and attentive girl who is always ready to help without ever being overbearing. With her assistance, my husband pulled off a dreamy proposal that left a lasting impression on us. The resort has four restaurants and a bar. Among the four, our favorites were Saoke—the Japanese restaurant, which sits over the water and offers stunning views—and the Asian restaurant, which serves some wonderfully authentic Asian dishes. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends, and I truly hope to visit again someday.

We really enjoyed the honeymoon stay in Joali. Although the arrival was with strong wind and rain, we are deeply touched by the warm welcoming from all Joali crew. Our jadugar, Mr. Adi, is a very nice guy. He is so warmhearted and let us feel like home. We stayed for 2 nights in beach villa and 2 nights in water villa. Both have its specialty and are clean and well-organnized. We really enjoyed the nice ocean view, building art design and outsea snorkeling seeing manta and turtles. All service team are very nice and leave us wonderful experience.

This was our first ever trip to the Maldives, and we chose Joali for our besties getaway — and we’re so glad we did! We got to explore delicious food every single day. All staff here are friendly and always wearing smiles. They bring great emotional support and deliver thoughtful personalized service throughout our stay. Our jadugar Abby was absolutely incredible, so attentive and insanely good at her job. The first two days it rained and we couldn’t go out, but she immediately stepped in, recommended alternative plans, and rebooked everything perfectly. Thanks to her, we finally got to see the dolphins and sea turtles we’d been dreaming of! She was also quick to solve any small emergencies we had, making the whole trip feel totally stress-free.Absolutely everything is 10/10, already planning our return with the squad!

The staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. The room is spacious, great for taking photos, and the environment is wonderful.

My stay at JOALI Maldives was truly outstanding — honestly one of the best experiences of my life, and probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Our honeymoon there was absolutely unforgettable, and what made it so special was the people. The entire team consistently went above and beyond in every detail, always with genuine warmth, care, and attention. The level of hospitality was simply exceptional. A very special thank you to tennis coach Marina for the amazing tennis sessions, to our fellow Brazilian Marina from the staff for making us feel even more at home, and to General Manager Shifaz Hassan for leading such an incredible team and creating such a welcoming atmosphere. Everything felt effortless, thoughtful, and truly world-class from beginning to end. We would definitely love to come back someday.
