It was good; the hot spring was very comfortable. You could tell it was an old hotel, but it was very well maintained. The service was good, especially the dinner; we ate so many dishes.

This five-generation-old hotel has been visited by many celebrities. The traditional Japanese-style rooms are quite large and offer beautiful mountain views. The standard 1-night, 2-meal package includes dinner with pufferfish and abalone, and the quality is even better than the popular restaurants in Shimonoseki, which is amazing. The breakfast is more average and lacks the variety and richness of other historical restaurants. Overall, I would give it a high rating.
