The bathroom door wouldn't open or close properly. I had to call someone in the middle of the night, but they were quite responsible and fixed it quickly. I initially thought it was a new hotel from 2023, but it turned out to be a renovation. Everything was pretty standard, nothing particularly outstanding or terrible. I didn't see any other Chinese guests, mostly Westerners, Koreans, and Japanese. The gym and pool were OK. The fresh squeezed juice at breakfast was a highlight, I really loved it. The rest of breakfast was just average.
As for the location, there's not much to say; it's similar to the Westin and Hyatt nearby. I didn't like that Terminal 21 was a bit chaotic.
Things I liked: Many spas on Friday, definitely worth trying, all within walking distance. There's an open-air restaurant downstairs with wooden chairs and tables that you absolutely must try (turn right after going downstairs, it's about 50 meters down the street). It's super delicious, excellent value for money, and has a great atmosphere; it's always packed! Overall, the location is a definite highlight! Much more convenient than the Central World area.
Thai hotel staff are always very friendly, and the service at this hotel was also OK. I always ask the doorman downstairs to call a taxi for me, which is very convenient (Grab can be expensive for short distances). Of course, I always tip, as they still have to communicate with the driver. This service is excellent and very reassuring.
