Courtyard Melbourne Flagstaff Gardens

I chose this hotel because it was a pick-up point for a day tour, but my stay was a pleasant surprise! Before checking in, an Asian lady gave me a kangaroo plushie, which was really sweet. The staff were very polite. It's about a 10-minute walk to the tram stop to get to the center. I wouldn't recommend booking breakfast here as it wasn't great; you can find much better brunch options in the center. However, for breakfast, you can order your preferred coffee and egg doneness. I was on a solo trip and accidentally lost my room key, but they didn't charge me for a replacement, and you can even keep the room key when you check out, which is a really nice touch! For a solo traveler, this kind of hassle-free hotel is perfect. The room size was also much better than I expected! They provide two coffee capsules daily, and as many bottles of water as you need. Room service was also excellent and quick! I really liked this hotel and hope it continues to improve.

It's a bit far from the city center, so you'll need to take the tram. The environment is clean, and breakfast is decent. The room is quite spacious. There are many Asian supermarkets and restaurants nearby. I'd recommend it for families with children. Overall, it's pretty good and clean.

I'll definitely choose this place again when I come to Melbourne in the future.

I was really satisfied with my five-night stay. The room was very spacious, clean, and tidy. The daily room cleaning was meticulous. The hairdryer was powerful, and the water pressure was strong. Most of the lighting could be controlled from the bedside. After a certain hour, you need your room key card to enter the hotel, which ensures top-notch security. The only thing is that it's not one of those hotels right next to a tram station, but that's precisely why it offers a quiet and peaceful environment.

I booked the Deluxe Garden View Room, which was more expensive than other room types. I chose it specifically for the garden view and a peaceful stay. Instead, I was given a room with a huge outdoor air conditioning unit right outside the window. Am I supposed to enjoy looking at an AC unit? I couldn't sleep at all at night because of the buzzing noise. I complained to the front desk the next day about the noise, and they told me it was the last available room. I booked this room months ago, and they gave me a defective one? Why wasn't I informed during check-in? The booking platform didn't show any defects! In China, rooms like this are usually special offer rooms. If you accidentally book one, hotels typically inform you beforehand or offer an upgrade. My friend had the same room type and also experienced noise. Then they told my friend that we had the last two rooms. Are they just taking advantage of us? Paying to listen to noise! Good thing I only stayed one night. The Sheraton Melbourne was much better afterward, with great service and a good location. I wish I had stayed at the Sheraton for all my nights in Melbourne!

This hotel is wonderfully quiet, a peaceful oasis amidst the city bustle. It's super convenient, just a 5-minute walk to Queen Victoria Market. Parking is available right at the hotel entrance, and the front desk service is exceptional. You won't find many kids here, making it ideal for business travelers or solo guests. The hotel itself is pretty standard, but the price is definitely worth it. If you're willing to spend a bit more, you could probably find a five-star place. If you're out exploring all day and just need a place to crash for one night, the rooms are very spacious with great views. The photo I took was from my room.

The room and bed were both large, and the location was convenient. It was very clean, but the air conditioning made some noise, so we turned it off.

I always stay here. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming. Every day, they provide two bottles of mineral water, and there's a kettle for boiling water to make tea. Slippers are also available, and the room size is just right.
