The moment you step in, the ambiance is incredible. The sea view is expansive, and you can literally lie down and watch the ocean. We even caught the sunset from our room that day. The private pool is perfect for photos, with the sea right behind you. The next morning, breakfast was exquisite, and the staff were all young and playful with the kids, which made it so relaxing not having to constantly watch them. The public areas are beautifully designed, with swings by the pool, and the cliff and sea views are absolutely stunning.

I haven't even checked in yet, but I already received a thoughtful shuttle reminder from the hotel. I absolutely have to give them a good review because, thanks to the owner's tip, I got to see the Blue Tears – it was amazing! The hotel's location is also excellent, with open views. It's right next to the Rainbow Dam and Xiyang Bay, which is perfect for watching the sunset.

Extremely satisfied! I've stayed in many hotels with sea views, and this one has one of the best. The front desk staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, were incredibly warm and friendly. Since it was off-season, they even upgraded our room without us asking! We'll definitely be back next year.

After an exhaustive search for hotels, I ended up picking this cave hotel on a whim. And it certainly didn't disappoint when I arrived! The scenery is absolutely stunning; the moment I pulled back the curtains and saw the ocean, it was incredibly therapeutic! Service: A perfect score, 100/100!!! A day before arrival, a butler contacted me via phone and WeChat – the service was absolutely fantastic! They arranged for a car to pick us up at the pier in advance. What's more, the hotel's location is superb, right next to Shengshan Pier. Even when we checked out and were heading to another hotel, they surprisingly arranged a car for us. Considering taxis on this island start at 50 RMB, that was a huge help! The breakfast selection wasn't vast, but it was perfectly adequate. Plus, we received two complimentary welcome drinks upon check-in! I honestly wonder why such an amazing hotel isn't more popular!

The ocean view from our window was stunning 🌊. Having the restaurant on the ground floor was super convenient, and their seafood noodles were incredibly tasty 🦐. They even have a mahjong room available 🀄️!

Perched on a cliff, the views from this guesthouse are, of course, incredible. The only minor workout is the uphill walk back after exploring, haha. To the left of the guesthouse entrance, you'll quickly reach Xiyang Bay, boasting super beautiful scenery. Turn right and head downhill; a short walk following your navigation will lead you directly to the town center. The large swimming pool features a swing chair, perfect for sitting in the evening, enjoying the sea breeze, and watching the sunset. It's incredibly relaxing, as the platform offers wide, unobstructed views. Our room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The only slight hiccup was the balcony door; I couldn't figure out how to open it for a long time, and the front desk eventually had to come up and show me. Otherwise, everything else was perfectly fine. Each room receives two complimentary drinks; just ask the bar. They also provide a convenient free pier shuttle service. All my photos were taken within the guesthouse grounds. There's no need to even step out; you can easily spend hours capturing beautiful shots right here. The lower level, in particular, has a wonderful Moroccan vibe. On checkout day, the kind lady at the bar noticed me waiting for my driver and thoughtfully brought me a complimentary slice of watermelon.

Facilities: The facilities are excellent. Though it's called a guesthouse/B&B, it feels much like a hotel, complete with a front desk and a buffet breakfast (although the variety was a bit limited). They have a swimming pool and swings, which are absolutely perfect for Instagram-worthy photos! We booked an RV, which was compact but had everything we needed. Cleanliness: Excellent. Ambiance: It's a secluded retreat with a beautiful Santorini-style design. At night, you can see countless stars, and even faintly spot the Milky Way! Service: They offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off service from either Gouqi Wharf or Shengshan Wharf, which is a fantastic perk. There's also a welcome drink upon check-in.

The service was excellent, and the room itself was very spacious. I appreciated the self-service laundry facilities. Breakfast, though not extensive, was clean and perfectly sufficient for my needs. The view is a definite highlight – absolutely breathtaking! You get stunning vistas of the blue sea, with fishing boats and cruise ships passing by directly in front, making it incredibly photogenic. While the guesthouse's restaurant is quite pricey (about double the cost of external seafood places), it offers comfortable, convenient, and clean dining, and you get to enjoy those fantastic sea-view tables. For more affordable seafood, I'd suggest checking out the smaller restaurants around Dawang Beach. The room amenities were generally excellent, with smart toilets and automatic curtains. My only minor complaint was the air conditioning, which was quite noisy. For a truly relaxing escape, a two-night stay would be ideal.
