As other reviews mentioned, the facilities and rooms are very old, and the futons were so thin they were like rice crackers, which made me laugh. The food was completely ordinary. I think the price is a little high. However, the hot spring water was wonderfully smooth and very nice. There was also a mini open-air bath. I bathed three times, and all three times I had it all to myself, which was fantastic! It costs 400 yen for a day trip to the baths. It might be worth just to use the baths without staying overnight. It seems to be family-run, and it had a nostalgic feel to it.
