Staying here was a delightful experience, with a dedicated butler providing full service throughout. Nestled in a valley, the hotel offers a serene environment and fresh air, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. We received dining vouchers that could be used for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the two-hour late check-out was a thoughtful touch. There were a couple of minor issues: we found flies in both our room and the restaurant, and the pour-over coffee at the restaurant was too weak. Some staff training might be beneficial!

A great B&B! The rooms are very unique and we could park our car safely and conveniently in the hotel garage, making it easy to get around. The housekeeper was attentive and enthusiastic, and the hotel breakfast is highly recommended—everything was delicious.

The food was very distinctive, and the accommodation service was excellent. Most importantly, the environment is truly perfect for a vacation. The only drawback was the breakfast service, which was just average. Every time I wanted more water for my tea, I had to call someone. I ordered lemonade, black tea, and oolong tea, but only the oolong tea was served. Afterward, I had to keep calling for refills. Eventually, I just canceled the black tea. The dishes I ordered also took forever to arrive, so I ended up canceling one of those too.

This guesthouse felt very familiar and cozy, and my child absolutely loved it. It's a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with a great natural environment – we even saw small frogs and praying mantises. My family all rested very well. The à la carte breakfast was a hit with everyone; it was fresh and ensured no waste. We went to the pub every evening, and their cocktails were excellent, especially paired with the small skewers. I highly recommend the chicken thigh skewers. The ceramic shops near the guesthouse entrance also had a lot of style and taste. Many small details were well-executed, and the butler was very responsive and attentive.

The hotel is located on a hillside outside the scenic area. You can contact the butler to arrange a shuttle service to pick you up from the roadside, and they offer pick-up and drop-off whether you're going out or returning to the hotel. The service is excellent. There's also free parking available. The hotel feels a bit dated, but the rooms are quite spacious, especially the vanity area which is double-sized and includes a bathtub. Complimentary fruits and drinks were provided. Each room also comes with two 128 yuan meal vouchers, which can be used for breakfast, lunch, or dinner at the hotel. This is a great perk, unlike most hotels that only offer a buffet breakfast.

Staying at Dongli Yuan, my biggest impression was how incredibly good the service is—so good it makes you want to give it six stars! From the moment you walk in, every staff member greets you with a smile, speaks softly, and is incredibly patient. The 24-hour service isn't just a claim; they respond exceptionally fast. The scenery is absolutely flawless. Open the window, and you're met with lush greenery. The flowers and plants in the courtyard are meticulously maintained. Sitting on the terrace, sipping tea, and letting your mind wander, with the mountain breeze blowing, just makes you completely relax. Honestly, I've stayed in many B&Bs, but few genuinely touch your heart with both their 'service' and 'scenery' like Dongli Yuan does. Next time I visit, I'll definitely stay here again.

The butler was very attentive and thoughtful, and the overall environment was comfortable. The many small gifts and fruits were a great bonus.

Everything was absolutely, utterly, completely, 100% OK! The environment was fine, the food was fine, but the butler service was exceptional. They responded to messages promptly, and the hotel's sightseeing buggy could take us to their nearby coffee shop and noodle restaurant. Before heading out, we'd just message the butler, and the car would be waiting right at the door – super convenient. Staying here also meant we didn't have to pre-book popular photo spots, saving us so much time! My friends who visited loved it too, and I'll definitely be booking this place for any future friends coming to visit. Highly recommended! ;-)
