Nice clean hotel, staff at the reception they do speak English. The WiFi was good, I realized most of my apps with the VPN works well than when I was outside.  The concierge team does absolutely amazing work, very respectful.

This hotel's location is indeed excellent, with a subway station conveniently located just a short walk away, making it very easy to get to Pazhou. The service efficiency is also quite high; when I had an issue and contacted the front desk, someone came to resolve it quickly. The room was clean, making for a comfortable stay. The breakfast selection was also quite comprehensive.

As someone who stays in hotels frequently, this place absolutely doesn't deserve the Hilton name! It's an old hotel that joined the chain, so it's basically Hilton in name only. It's the worst experience I've ever had! The room window looked out onto a platform, and the ceiling was even moldy – unbelievable! The experience was worse than any mid-range hotel brand in China. Guangzhou already has frequent thunderstorms, and the hotel was completely unaccommodating when it came to last-minute travel changes. We were forced to stick to our original plans, and as a result, the lobby was incredibly slippery! Furthermore, many things in the room were damp, including the pillows! Even the duvet had a strange smell, and everything felt sticky and damp, mixed with an unpleasant odor! Unbelievable! Their bed linens were just piled up haphazardly, and the cleanliness was incredibly superficial. There were even fake eyelashes left in the sink that hadn't been cleaned! They advertised a self-service laundry room, but it actually cost dozens of yuan to wash a single item! So much for 'self-service'! They even charged for drying! Other hotels at least offer delivery for that price, but here, you get nothing – if you ask, they just say 'self-service'! The gym was also very basic and had a strong, unpleasant smell. The room temperature was constantly fluctuating, hot then cold, and couldn't be controlled. The TV didn't have screen casting, and the fridge was useless. The doors next door were incredibly loud when opening and closing. Many of the staff had impatient expressions, as if we owed them something! Calling the front desk often went unanswered, and when they did answer, they'd hang up before I finished speaking.

You guys have to see how close this hotel is to the elevated highway – my goodness, it's surrounded on all four sides by them! At night, it's nothing but massive trucks and dump trucks. Honestly, I didn't get any good sleep. It's my first time seeing container trucks in a city, continuously rolling by like trains, rumbling all night long. The four-lane road right outside the entrance was completely packed. Even from a distance, I was scared. Passing by, it felt like the earth was shaking. Plus, the high-speed rail runs right over the bridge at the entrance. This can't be a genuine Hilton brand; it's really not good. The hallways are super narrow. I didn't have high expectations for this brand to begin with, but the reality was even worse than I imagined, just awful. I saw some kind of bug – a cricket or a cockroach? I even took a picture; it was so disgusting. Later, I looked it up and apparently, many people have complained about bugs. Wish I had known, I wouldn't have stayed here. Personally, I can't stand any of that. Also, the items sold in the lobby are way too expensive, a bit of a rip-off. Getting to the subway station is inconvenient too. It looks close on the map, but you actually have to cross several pedestrian overpasses, and the sidewalks are blocked by those handcarts, making it impossible to walk safely. Parking is free, though; if a friend comes to pick you up, you need to get a QR code from the front desk to scan for parking.

The hotel is quite old. The air conditioning is very noisy, and the buttons are faulty, requiring a lot of force to press. The decor is outdated, and the curtains don't block out light effectively. The in-room appliances, like the hairdryer, are ancient; the hairdryer even blows out air with a strange smell. There were quite a few mosquitoes, but the hotel did provide mosquito coils, which shows they're aware of the problem. **Service:** It was mediocre. I haven't seen a hotel that charges for bottled water in ages. There's a self-service vending area in the lobby, but the prices are several times higher than convenience stores outside. There are no shopping areas nearby, and getting a taxi anywhere means circling under the overpass, which is very inconvenient and heavily congested. Many cyclists block the way for taxis to get onto the main road. I almost missed my flight, it was such a waste of time. **Environment:** The entire hotel has an indescribable odor, which might be a common issue with old hotels. The soundproofing is terrible. Although the hotel mentioned renovations, so I had some expectations, besides the drilling noises from the renovation, the traffic noise from the overpass at night was still deafening. You could clearly hear conversations from the adjacent room; it felt like the walls were made of thin wood and offered almost no sound insulation. **Breakfast:** It was awful, absolutely awful! It seemed to be pre-made, and the selection was very limited. The bacon was clearly poor quality, and the soy milk had a bitter taste – I don't know how long it had been sitting out, or if they were just using cheap ingredients to cut costs. The wontons were also frozen. Everyone eating looked disgusted.

Hygiene: I can't believe a Hilton hotel would have giant cockroaches. The room had a strange smell, and the bedding, along with the entire space, reeked of a nauseating mix of mildew and cheap perfume. There were also many unidentifiable yellow stains everywhere. What's worse, the staff seemed to think it was completely normal. There were a lot of Black people in the hotel, making it feel more like a local shelter than a proper hotel. Facilities: All the hotel facilities were outdated. The air conditioning was incredibly noisy, and the soundproofing in the room was terrible. The room itself was small, and with dozens of rooms crammed onto one floor, I could clearly hear other guests engaging in *activities* on the same floor. The noise from people walking in the hallway, especially in the mornings and evenings, was very disruptive to sleep. I could also clearly hear conversations from other rooms. Furthermore, delivery robots were the only option for food delivery, but my order didn't arrive even after an hour. When I asked for a staff member to bring it quickly, the response over the phone was that everyone was busy and I just had to wait, which was a very frustrating experience. Environment: The hotel is located right next to an elevated highway, and the constant traffic and honking would be unbearable even for someone with good sleep quality. The surrounding area consists of old, dilapidated residential buildings with very poor sanitation. The electric scooters swarming around the hotel entrance were horrifying, like a plague of locusts; you'd almost get hit even on the sidewalk. Service: The lobby was chaotic, with luggage piled up haphazardly. There was a wide variety of people in the hotel, and many of the staff seemed completely untrained, lacking any sort of standard. Some would even bump into you and just walk away with a dismissive 'oops.' The only thing truly 'Hilton' about this hotel was the sign.
