NINE TREE BY PARNAS SEOUL INSADONG

The hotel is located south of Gyeongbokgung Palace, which is a pretty good overall location. Downstairs is Insadong, a bustling shopping street with lots of people. There's also an Olive Young store downstairs, making it very convenient for shopping after returning each day. On the first day of check-in, I wasn't given breakfast vouchers. The restaurant staff couldn't let me dine even after verifying my room number, forcing me to go to the front desk to get them. Later, I found out the receptionist had noted breakfast vouchers with my name on them but forgot to give them to me. This 'voucher-only, no room number' service is too rigid. On the first day of my stay, the room had no towels at all. I don't know if they forgot or if there simply weren't any. I had to call in the evening to get them delivered, which also wasn't a great experience. The hotel claims to be eco-friendly and thus doesn't provide toothbrushes, which is fine. However, the slippers are very thin and don't match the hotel's price point, and I question how environmentally friendly they actually are.

The hotel is right below the bustling Insadong, and not far from Bukchon, Myeongdong, and Namdaemun. The in-room facilities are just average. It's not convenient if you plan to use the subway frequently, but if you're only taking taxis, it's perfectly fine as the pick-up point is very convenient.

The hotel's location is excellent! That was my primary reason for booking it. It's right near a small commercial area with plenty of food options and shops. Most importantly, Gyeongbokgung Palace is less than a 10-minute walk away, and it's very convenient to get to other attractions from here.

The location is fantastic! It's a very convenient walk to the Blue House and Gyeongbokgung Palace. Jogyesa Temple is right next door, and downstairs there's a commercial street and a GS25 convenience store, which is super handy.

This was the best hotel of my trip to Korea. It's conveniently located, making it easy to get around, and it was very clean and tidy. To the north are Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village, and to the south are Cheonggyecheon Stream and Myeongdong. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time.
