Embassy Suites by Hilton Charleston

Enjoy the Managers reception and breakfast buffet. However the room we were assigned on was definitely in need of some TLC maintenance. Love that each room truly is a suite.This was a surprise as we had stayed a week before on a different level and everything was top notch. It was a holiday weekend and I am sure very busy so perhaps that is part of reason. Also,staffing may also account for a very limited and sometimes nonexistent buffet at managers reception. However , I choose to believe our stay the weekend before was more to standard of Embassy.

There was a sock and used razor on the ground when I just checked in. Otherwise everything was fine. Parking was $16 after tax. It’s behind the hotel. The entrance parking was full when I got there. 2 free drinks 5:30-7pm and breakfast included. Omelette bar was pretty good. Staff generally were very friendly. Pictures are the view from my room.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and amazing breakfast

Wonderful experience for my family. Breakfast employee was very accommodating and helpful with my assisting with options for my sons dairy allergy. Room was clean.

Took 3 staff members, 2 hours to find my reservation, which was booked through the Home Office website. Parking is a joke. They took what used to be guest parking in the front and made the whole area very expensive valet parking. When you want your car the valet walks a few feet to get it, if you used self parking you have to walk a block and a half. Customer centered thinking suggests it should be the other way around. I met two couples in the elevator who were issued keys to rooms that were already occupied.

Yes the breakfast was fresh but the room was so cold that by the time we sat down to eat, the eggs were cold. The room service was nice to have but the salad was wilted. The bathroom light was so low we could barely see. Beds were clean and comfortable. We had a persian cat and you put us on the 7th floor. (718) We had to make three trips to our car and we were supposed to park across the street. We are 75 and 76. We were able to park in the Handicap area due to my wife's artificial ankle.

The rooms and common areas were nice. Location was nice with dining options in a walkable distance.

Nice clean rooms with managers reception and walking distance to some cool places like the fife street brewery.

Breakfast was excellent. Great selection and everything was great !!!
