Before staying at Shangri-La, I stayed at the GR*** HA*** Hotel, and I honestly regret not choosing Shangri-La for my entire stay in Istanbul. First of all, I truly appreciated being offered an early check-in when I arrived from my previous hotel. The breakfast was very good, and the turndown service made my stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. What impressed me the most was the hotel's effort to maintain communication with guests through WhatsApp to ensure their comfort and convenience. While these services should naturally be expected from a five-star hotel, unfortunately, many hotels these days fail to meet even these basic standards. However, Shangri-La consistently demonstrated its commitment to the fundamentals of five-star hospitality from the beginning to the end of my stay. This was something I truly appreciated. If I ever return to Istanbul for another business trip, I will definitely choose Shangri-La rather than staying at any other hotel. The fitness center was also very well-equipped, making it easy and convenient to work out during my stay. Thank you to the Shangri-La team for making my stay such a pleasant experience. I look forward to visiting again!

I was very satisfied with the front desk and room service. In particular, a young customer service manager named Yilan, who studied in Shanghai for a year, proactively offered help and sought feedback. This is something that hotels in China could definitely learn from.

The spa was amazing. However i was staying in a non-smoking room and specifically asked for it. But the guests in the adjacent rooms kept smoking cigarettes all night long and my room smelled like cigarettes. Called the front desk but they were not able to do anything and the situation kept on. Very disappointed because it ruined my sleep.

The Executive Suite was spacious with a partial sea view. The outdoor breakfast area offered a great view, and extra beds for children were free.
