Courtyard Springfield Airport

I spent a week (M-F) at this hotel for a business trip in the area. It is very close to the airport. It is also close to restaurants and gas stations. The hotel surroundings are kept clean. The interiors are also kept clean. My room had a balcony, and it was clean and spacious. The fridge and the A/C worked just fine. Hot water and a good shower head. The only thing was that the shower drain was a little slow. The internet speed was high and it only dropped once. Very good value.

There is a a reason this hotel has such a low rating. I have stayed in Courtyards all over the country and this is literally the worst. They gave away my room due to being overbooked, sent me miles away across town to another property, after assuring me that there was a room available. Of course when I arrived- no room. Then this Courtyard lied to Bonvoy about it to avoid the points I was entitled to.

Had an issue on a previous visit when room not available on arrival late evening and then we were charged on our card despite having a pre-paid reservation through a travel agent. A chargeback was done via the card company. This visit on arrival again late evening we were advised that our two rooms were not available and we were offered a larger room with sitting room and two beds. We were told the cost of one room would be refunded and we would only be charged the price of one of the two rooms we had booked. This has yet to materialise and our agent has had no communication. Room and facilities all ok but could do without issues after a long international journey. Will not attempt a third visit

The bar was poorly stocked, with only three kinds of beer. The toilet ran all night, the door to the stairwell, which was next to our room, slammed any time someone used it do to a failing closer. The door to our room had a half inch gap to the frame and no weatherstripping. Hotel staff was great and the airport shuttle was convenient.

To start, they charge for parking. Which I thought was weird. Then there was what looked like blood stains on the carpet. And to top it off, someone left food in the refrigerator.

First off, check in was absolutely amazing and the shuttle driver was awesome as well. They deserve a raise!!! Sorry I don’t recall their names. The issues I had were there were two Q-tips in the rooms trash so i questioned the cleanliness of everything else. I got in at 1 am due to late flights and weather and went down at 9:50 am to get a coffee and they were cleaning the machine so I had to do without. Very disappointing. Lastly, when checking out, I asked about a future stay and the fact they charge $10 for parking if I stay there, is disappointing for us members.

Check in went very smoothly. Their shuttle to and from the airport was awesome!!!! The bedroom was spacious and I loved the balcony!!! I would definitely recommend this Courtyard.

Room had private part hair on toilet, tv did not work properly, the neighbors were so extremely loud likely because it was a poorly insulated adjoining room.

The bed was not made up, the top sheet was just pulled over on the bed. The sheets smelled as well. The sink was dirty around the rim and the bath tub was not clean nor maintained. The body wash bottle was empty also. I also stay at Mariott property but this experience was the worse experience.
