stayed in Sooknirund from 16-18 Oct 2026, must say the service is exceptional and impeccable, staff are warm, friendly and ever helpful, some are also proficiently bilingual in English and Mandarin. we got two rooms (214 & 216), clean, spacious and comfortable, great beds, great shower, sound proof is awesome, aircon strong. Sooknirund' location is superb with many nearby eateries, massage spas and the famous clock tower is just right outside, there are ample parking space for self drivers and the night bazaar a short 5mins walk away. ala carte breakfast offers a good selection, from asian rice, porridge to western breakfast, servings portion generous too. there is great effort to the whole interior build and design by interweaving nature with infrastructure of hotel that brings about serenity and peace. totally recommend to anyone visiting Chiang Rai!

Great hotel with excellent service. The room was beautiful, clean, and a good size. Located right in the city center of Chiang Rai, making it very convenient to get around. I do have a small comment about the water system, which was a bit inconsistent—going from hot to cold. If this could be fixed, it would be even better. Overall, I really liked it!

The water pressure in the shower fluctuated quite a bit. After checking out, we stored our luggage because our flight was in the afternoon. When we came back to pick up our bags, we asked the front desk to open a door for us to use the restroom before heading to the airport (since we had checked out, we couldn't open the glass door ourselves). But why the sour face? We just needed to use a public restroom. We stayed for two days, it's not like we just walked in off the street to use your toilet. We weren't asking to use a room's bathroom, just the public one. This really knocked down the good impression we had built up over the past few days.

The hotel is centrally located in Chiang rai near several nice restaurants and walking distance to the Saturday night market. I enjoyed the convenience of the location. There is also plenty of parking lots if you rent a car to drive. The amenities is a bit disappointing. The fitness centre is small and there is no swimming pool. I also asked for a change in the room to king which they said ok but when I checked in the room was no longer available.

Right next to the Clock Tower and close to the night market, with a 7-Eleven just across the street. There are plenty of dining and massage options nearby. The hygiene and service were excellent. There's a Starbucks next to the restaurant, and breakfast is à la carte with self-service drinks.
