The team at ArticBath are professional, personable and unobtrusive. They create a welcoming atmosphere the moment you arrive - nothing is too much bother for them. The room (a water cabin) was small but beautifully designed and just right for a few days. Attention to detail is evident. The spa (steam room, 2 sauna, 2 hot-tubs and freezing cold plunge pool) offer just the right balance of fun and relaxation. The restaurant offered a different evening meal on each night of our stay (over which we had no discretion (other than to reflect food allergies and preferences - my wife is a pescatarian) - which I quite enjoyed) and is definitely worthy of a Michelin Star. Really flavoursome food beautifully presented! Not cheap ... but well worth the money !! Oh ... and if you're lucky enough, as we were, you'll get to see the Northern Lights lighting up the sky !!!

Location is in the middle of nowhere and there are no signs. Google Maps guided us to the parking place but there you have to wonder, which building is the reception. It’s the big one on a lake. We were there in the end of July which you could think being the most busy time. In addition to us there was only one couple. There are rooms on land and on lake. We had the latter, and it was super. Beautiful and functional. In spa there are two Finnish sauna and a steam room. Two jacuzzis. Lake water was very refreshing. Gourmet dinner was composed of amuse bouche, 4 courses and petit fours. It was very good! Breakfast is served to table. It was very good too. Excellent experience!

We stayed at the Ice Hotel, Tree Hotel and the Arctic Bath (2 nights each), and by far, the Artic Bath was the best experience in terms of location, setting, quality of the rooms, food and most of all the wonderful service from all the staff at Arctic Bath. From the time we made the reservations to the time we left (even after we left, actually), the staff has an innate desire to want to make sure everything is perfect including our excursions/activities. They went out of their way to work with their preferred partners to make special arrangements (transfers (Margaret), Aurora with Hide & See (Mikael), horse sleigh a Ranisgarden (Roger)) for our excursions. We enjoyed all the excursions. Special recognition for Mary, Klara and Sven from Arctic Bath.

Beautiful rooms and hotel. The tasting menu dinners were phenomenal and creative. The staff goes above and beyond to be helpful. It was fun to sit in the hot tub and look across the frozen river. Going in the wintertime, it is pretty cold to talk to the main building for meals. The room was comfortable, clean, warm and a big size.

What a wonderful experience. We stayed in August and took a land suite and a water cabin. Both were unique and no detail or comfort was missed. The center lobby holds the restaurant, access to swimming , hot tub and spa. Such a cool unique structure. We had gorgeous sunny days so could take advantage of its use and loved the dips in the water and use of hot tub. The view was lovely and the vibe tranquil. The restaurant was also quite a highlight. We did the tasting menu both nights and were beyond impressed by the chefs talent. The ingenuity, design and taste of his dishes certainly left quite an impression on all of us. ALL the staff at arctic bath go above and beyond and the service is personnel and professional. I would def stay again and recommend all to go!

I adored this hotel. We stayed in a land room, a wonderful stilted lodge boasting lounge, downstairs bedroom and bathroom plus a spiral staircase to a loft. The views from the full size picture windows were sublime. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Dinner was an absolute highlight, with each course thoughtfully explained. The hotel wasn’t busy when we stayed so it felt like we got a very personal service. I enjoyed using the hot tub in the rain and felt quite mesmerised by the strength of the water flowing past. I felt obliged to take a dip in the river which was challenging but felt exhilarating. I only lasted about 40 seconds, I don’t know how people do it in the winter! We took the Sapmi experience and visited Lars, an 80-something reindeer herder. It was a very special day and helped me understand nature and the challenges there a lot better. I could happily stay a week but it’s quite expensive so our 2 nights were about right.
