Dining Experience: The restaurant offers a high-quality, Michelin-starred tasting menu with locally sourced, creative dishes. Evenings are marked by multi-course meals with thoughtful presentation, though some guests note the cost is high compared to the value of included amenities.

Exemplary service, fantastic food, a wonderful location for a special occasion. Thank you to everyone in the Arctic Bath team for being so professional and making our stay memorable in all the best ways.

The staff and hotel are excellent but there were a couple of issues caused by the admin department that I would not expect from a high end hotel. I'll start with the good bits... All of the staff here are excellent and make your stay perfect. We had a water cabin which was cosy and comfortable and the food was amazing. They have a different menu every night for 3 nights and then it gets rotated again so 3 nights here was perfect for us. The spa is great, 2 saunas, a steam room, 2 Jacuzzis and a natural plunge pool. Its never crowded and I recommend the plunge pool, it is invigorating. We also had massages which were very good. We did the snow shoeing and we had a great time with our guide through the forest. Harad's, the village is about a 15 min walk at most, there is a co op, a restaurant (we had lunch here and it was good), a general store where you can buy souvenirs. We also hiked up to the view point, the hotel can provide a map. In Sweden you can't buy alcohol from a supermarket which was disappointing as we had tried two lovely Swedish wines in the hotel made from berries instead of grapes and we wanted to buy a couple of bottles to take home...but we couldn't find anywhere to purchase these locally. The hotel provided some warm jackets and clothing for the snow shoeing and they were happy for us to keep these during our stay for walking around the resort. The setting by the river is lovely and we had a brilliant 3 days. There were a couple of issues that shouldn't have happened with a hotel of this quality, firstly our travel agent had requested that we have 8.30pm dinner slot and this was confirmed but when we arrive we were told our dinner would be at 6.30 (or 6) pm, which we were not happy about. Wilmer on reception was very good and had a word with the chef who was able to accommodate us at the later time. The second issue was around our bill, we had already paid for our room and food but were invoiced again and Wilmer had to sort this out as well with the admin team. In conclusion, this is a lovely place to stay but they do need to make sure the admin team don't continue to make mistakes with these issues. They may not seem like much but when you are paying a lot of money to stay here I would not expect issues like this to occur.

Having changed our Travel Plans to accommodate a visit to The Artic Bath. First off it is truly in a great location and the main spa building is unique hence our visit the Service from all of the Staff members was good. We did have a few issues maybe we were just unlucky the first Sauna was not operational this was rectified quickly, the Hot tub was not working we were offered the 2nd but it was cold, then to top it off our pellet burner would not relight after briefly working the staff did look at this but could not fix it which was disappointing as the room did not feel warm and cosy. The Tasting menu was good with creativity and local produce overall I honestly do not think it is value for money the room is adequate but apart from coffee capsules and Tea Bags everything is extra Food and Drinks are very expensive it should be included for this Price we have stayed at luxury Hotels and accommodation all over the world which offer so much more for less I really am not sure how they justify this cost ! My score is based on value for money, furmishings and overall amenities which I believed were lacking.

The Arctic Bath was awarded a Michelin key shortly before I arrived, and it is well deserved. This hotel is small and offers a lot of privacy. I was drawn here by its location on the river and intriguing architecture. My land-based cabin accommodations were so cozy – love that pellet stove! Just a short stroll from my cabin were the restaurant and spa which are in the main building – both rise to Michelin status. Ironically, I skipped the Arctic Bath cold plunge. Something about having to chip the ice away deterred me! I arrived with only the clothes on my back thanks to various travel mishaps, but the warm and welcoming Arctic Bath team made it work. I can vouch for the quality of the lend winter clothes they provided, especially useful when trekking late at night seeking Northern Lights! I thought seeing the Northern Lights was going to be the high point of my trip, but my favorite moments came while visiting with Anna, who generously shared her unique Sami cultural traditions. She invited me into her family’s yevvu, served reindeer soup and Sami coffee (delicious!) and sang the joik (song) she created for her first-born son. I gladly joined her feeding the reindeer in her "infirmary" before heading back to the hotel. I met the real Sven! What a beautiful visit!

The team at ArticBath are professional, personable and unobtrusive. They create a welcoming atmosphere the moment you arrive - nothing is too much bother for them. The room (a water cabin) was small but beautifully designed and just right for a few days. Attention to detail is evident. The spa (steam room, 2 sauna, 2 hot-tubs and freezing cold plunge pool) offer just the right balance of fun and relaxation. The restaurant offered a different evening meal on each night of our stay (over which we had no discretion (other than to reflect food allergies and preferences - my wife is a pescatarian) - which I quite enjoyed) and is definitely worthy of a Michelin Star. Really flavoursome food beautifully presented! Not cheap ... but well worth the money !! Oh ... and if you're lucky enough, as we were, you'll get to see the Northern Lights lighting up the sky !!!

Location is in the middle of nowhere and there are no signs. Google Maps guided us to the parking place but there you have to wonder, which building is the reception. It’s the big one on a lake. We were there in the end of July which you could think being the most busy time. In addition to us there was only one couple. There are rooms on land and on lake. We had the latter, and it was super. Beautiful and functional. In spa there are two Finnish sauna and a steam room. Two jacuzzis. Lake water was very refreshing. Gourmet dinner was composed of amuse bouche, 4 courses and petit fours. It was very good! Breakfast is served to table. It was very good too. Excellent experience!
