Canyon Plaza Premier Studios and Apts-South Rim

The front desk staff was not very helpful. The studio we stayed in was not clean, they have induction stove top that had food caked on it - there were ants. It was way over priced for what we got - but, it is one of the few places in the Grand Canyon that accepts dogs.

Canyon Plaza apartments couldn't be a better experience for Grand Canyon visits, especially if traveling with a pet. We enjoyed three nights there and loved walking the one mile to the town of Tusayan and very nice shops, though pricy. Our studio was so well furnished. Though not that big it had everything we needed and we could sleep, prepare meals, dine and relax in complete comfort. One of our dogs spent hours gazing at the nice view from our welcome balcony. There is a wonderful trail on a beautiful wooded hillside behind the hotel that is perfect for walking dogs. If you push just past the trail end through a parking lot, you are at the IMAX theater and Grand Canyon visitor center, a good little shortcut to town!
