The food is absolutely delicious. The ocean view from the room, seen through the pine trees, is so calming. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

We traveled in group of 6 and had a great time during our stay. Though the hotel was quite old and Onsen was small but the hot spring quality was superb. We felt smoother skin after use. Dinner and Breakfast were also great.

The ryokan location is excellent. My room has a huge picture window facing east. I can see the famous bay with its many islands, including the Fukuura island (福浦𡷊), in the morning with wonderful sun rise view. The Japanese breakfasts were excellent especially the one on our second day… fresh grilled fish, etc.. The Kaiseki dinners for both nights were wonderful with fresh grilled fish and high grade wagyu beef plus oyster cooked to perfection. The Onsens on the other hand are just Okay. However with the view of Fukuura island and its red bridge … nice.

The service was exceptional. The view from the onsen bath is amazing. Both the dinner and breakfast are japanese set menus with many varied dishes that are very favorable. The room is traditional Japanese style with sitting and sleeping on the floor tatami mats. The room did show some wear, but nothing that interfered with enjoying the experience. We would definitely stay here again.

the foot bath and deck had an amazing view for sunrise!! the food was great and abundant, even I only tried breakfast! Love the location, can walk to all main attractions. All in all, love my stay there!

Excellent service, food was great (only had 1 dinner out of 2 nights) and location was perfect with lovely view to the bay :) Hotel room and amenities were abit dated. Had booked the hotel 2 months ago n was surprised at the rates of about 70000 yen per night. Thought it was because of Sakura season and being a weekend. However during stay noted that rates were now 20000- 30000 yen a night! Inquired during check out about the huge discrepancy in price and all they said was it depends on the view :/ Felt I had been scammed :( For that reason I would give it 2 stars out of 5.
