My family drove from Paris to Reims and to Strasbourg so we stayed in the middle of our route Metz which is a lovely little town. This hotel has parking lot, close to Christmas market, provides breakfast which are all we needed.

What a beautiful, chic hotel, in a beautiful location 5 minutes from the center.
The most beautiful hotel room I have ever had the pleasure of staying in.
Everything very clean and tidy.
An intermediate hallway so you don't hear any noise from the corridor.

The rooms were large, but unfortunately, the silicone sealant in the bathroom had obviously been broken for some time, and the water damage was already visible. The service at the reception desk was super friendly.
We didn't opt for breakfast.

The location is excellent for exploring the old town. The rooms are above average in size but a bit dated.

The hotel is very spacious, the rooms are spacious and clean, the facilities are relatively new, the service staff are friendly, and the biggest surprise is that the food in the restaurant is very delicious and very satisfying.

Opened in 2005, the Citadel Hotel, near the historic and cultural heart of Metz, is worthy of top recognition in the upscale hotel business. This large-scale military building was built in 1559 with the aim of preserving the Metz square conquered by King Henry II. This sober and uncluttered building now has 78 bedrooms including 2 suites, 4 meeting rooms and La Réserve, a new bistronomic restaurant.
