Harwood Hill Motel

This is such a unique property, full of creative landscaping and highlighted with intriguing works of art! The rooms are nicely appointed and furnished to include reclaimed and repurposed pieces that give off a warm and friendly atmosphere! We have returned 4 times, and will always choose this delightful spot when traveling through Bennington!

Sweet, quirky, artsy motel. Very clean, comfortable room, unique and repurposed furniture accents, views of rustic fences, creative landscapes, and lots of local art scattered throughout the grounds. Generous breakfast, parking outside our door.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, parking was easy, and the breakfast was simple, fresh and delicious. We were greeted warmly, and staff on duty was able to answer all our questions about how to get places around town.

This was a last minute find and I would definitely recommend it. The staff were very kind, the room was really nice. We were there in early Spring, so i suspect the grounds were not as pretty as they will be in a few weeks.

The room was spotlessly clean and also cozy, with real armchairs to sit in and lamps to read by. The bathroom was small, but well stocked with soaps, towels, hairdryer, etc. We loved all of the art outside and want to come back when it's less snowy, so we can see more of it. The person at the reception was very welcoming and helpful. And we slept wonderfully.

So glad we chose Harwood Hill, so much more than we expected. Give me a homey motel any day over a regular ole hotel! It’s spotless and the staff is wonderful.

This was my third stay over the course of many years, and this motel is always reliable for its comfort, cleanliness, warm welcome and good continental breakfast. I'll be back for sure!
