The Watershed - Formerly Hotel Zero Degrees

Watershed is my first choice location in Norwalk. Aside from proximity to the train, it is a great facility and usually at a great price.

Staff is excellent. All are friendly, efficient, and very courteous. We stayed there when it was Hotel Zero several times, visiting family from out of state, and the Watershed re-do looks nice as well. The problem we have with the property is acoustics. First, because of how the lobby is built, the noise travels up to the other rooms, and it's a huge echo chamber (like John Bonham banging on the drums, loud). Second, the ceilings don't have enough (or any?) insulation, so the noise of the person above our room sounded like she weighed 5000 pounds in wooden clogs. If you bring ear-plugs, you'll be fine. Unfortunately, we will not return, because we need our sleep, and that can't happen there.

Just a really great hotel overall. Super comfortable bed, very clean room overall. Classic example of how hotels should be run regardless of luxury class. Wonderful staff and including small details matters. The attached restaurant shouldn’t be missed either, delish!

Good location, very good room and bath & great staff. Good breakfast options. Safe parking too. Highly recommend this property.

I have stayed here twice in the past 2 months. It is a lovely boutique hotel. The rooms are neatly designed clean and such a comfortable bed. Great simple breakfast.

The breakfast was included but really not good. The coffee was good but the food was packaged and tasteless. Had to go out for breakfast for sure.

This place is lovely. I’m taking a star off because I COULD NOT GET ANY SOAP. I guess I’m supposed to reach in the shower and wash my hands with body wash but that didn’t work really well for me. The housekeeping staff was in the hallway and they searched their carts and storage room, but couldn’t find anything. It just seems weird.

Impeccably clean hotel! The staff is also top notch, very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is nicely decorated and recently updated. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms fully stocked. There is an attached restaurant and bar. Light continental breakfast/coffee included. Parking was free and covered parking spots. We very much enjoyed our stay!
