Movenpick Villas & Residences Phu Quoc

The room was very nice, but there was always a damp smell, and it felt like the blankets weren't dried properly. This might be related to the weather. It's very close to the beach, and there's a shuttle bus that takes you there. They also have lounge chairs and swings, so you can just relax and chill out. I'm not sure if they have airport pickup service, but they do offer airport drop-off, which was quite good. The staff were very enthusiastic; as soon as I checked in, bellboys and others came to greet me. A big thank you to the handsome Bao for upgrading me to a sea-view room. Even as a solo traveler, I felt very safe. However, it's about 10 km from the city center, though I think there might be a shuttle service to the city. This hotel seems to have a lot of French and Korean guests.

The hotel is beautiful with a great ambiance, located right on the beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There's an affordable restaurant right in front of the hotel.

First of all, the facilities were excellent. The room was spacious, and the living room was also very large, which was great. It was wonderful that my family and I could create such good memories there.

Unfortunately, the reception was very bad and uncooperative. Luggage delivery was self-service, and there was a complete lack of respect for guests. It felt as if I was staying for free, given the poor treatment from the receptionist. They showed no appreciation, respect, or understanding of the effort and exhaustion I was experiencing. Regrettably, everything else about the hotel was excellent, but the staff were uncooperative.

The environment is comfortable and very suitable for families. The service attitude is friendly, and the breakfast food is very rich. The room is clean and hygienic, so you can feel at ease even with children. There are also many play facilities.

This room type is quite a good deal compared to the villa. It has nice views and a reasonable price. The villa was a bit overpriced. After one day in the villa, I didn't feel it was worth continuing. Whether you pay 1500 a day or 600 a day, you get the same breakfast and afternoon tea, haha 😄, no difference at all.
