Yangshuo Sanqianli Narada Resort Hotel

The room is spacious and the environment is excellent. Opening the window reveals a picturesque landscape. The staff are very enthusiastic, especially the front desk attendant who was really nice. Thumbs up!

1. The location is very close to Yangshuo High-Speed Railway Station and not far from Xingping Ancient Town. The surroundings are quiet. 2. The service was excellent. Before check-in, they proactively called to ask if I needed a pick-up from the station, and they sent a Buick commercial van. They also provided a car to take me to the station when I left. The staff were friendly and polite. 3. They proactively upgraded my room. 4. The room had a great view; I could see the mountains as soon as I opened the curtains. It was spacious with a balcony and a bathtub. 5. Breakfast was standard. 6. If I visit Yangshuo again, I would definitely consider staying here.

We went right before the May Day holiday. We booked a standard room and were upgraded for free to a mountain-view room. The room was spacious and the view was beautiful, which I was very happy with. The package included a travel photoshoot and a bamboo raft experience on the Dayuan River, both of which were good. The package also included a small train, but we stayed for 5 nights and it was always under maintenance, so we never got to ride it. We originally booked this hotel for a family trip. According to reviews, the hotel had a pool, a sand play area, and a large kids' club. We thought that even though the location was remote, our child would have a great time for five days. However, the pool was closed during the off-season, the sand play area was neglected and overgrown, and the kids' club had been closed for a long time due to lack of maintenance. The only child-friendly amenity left in the entire resort was a carousel. Since the pre-booked room couldn't be canceled, we had to temporarily rent a car to go to Yangshuo. The service awareness at the resort was also not strong. The breakfast selection was very limited. One day, when the bread ran out and we asked for more, the hotel surprisingly said they didn't have any left. It was quite shocking. Wouldn't paying a little more than 600 RMB (our room rate) to stay at a Banyan Tree hotel be a much better option? Be very cautious when considering online reviews and recommendations!

This hotel is considered good within the Xingping area, but the value for money is average. The rooms are quite spacious and it's located within the Sanqianli scenic area, which seems nice at first glance. However, upon closer inspection, you realize the entire scenic area can be explored in just 20 minutes. The most surprising part was breakfast. The restaurant only had about five or six tables, and there were fewer than 10 breakfast options, making it hard to find anything appealing. This is completely mismatched with a five-star hotel and its price point.

Three issues: 1. No luggage check-in service, which was very inconvenient, and the staff were dismissive. 2. Poor soundproofing; noise from outside the window came into the room. 3. The hotel is located inside a man-made scenic area, making access difficult.

I originally booked a twin room with a balcony, but the front desk attendant upgraded us to a 'Starlight Room,' which had a huge terrace. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is also super close to Xingping Ancient Town and the high-speed rail station. Plus, they even included a bamboo raft ride and a travel photoshoot, which was a nice bonus!

The environment is first-class, but it lacks popularity. Besides us, I didn't see any other guests that night. The breakfast buffet was canceled and replaced with a pre-ordered set meal delivered to the room. The room also lacked a bathtub, which is seriously inconsistent with the 1600 RMB price per night. The free high-speed rail station shuttle is a commendable plus, though.

I was really furious! For a resort hotel, I couldn't believe the entrance we used during the day was locked and bolted when we returned at 1:00 AM, and the security booth was empty. To make matters worse, nobody answered the phone number left on the door. We had to wander around looking for a way in until someone at the scenic area's main gate directed us. When we got to the front desk, they claimed the locked door was a fire exit. Let me ask you, is a fire exit supposed to be locked? And why wasn't we informed during the day that this door gets locked at night, or which alternative entrance to use if it is?

Our weekend getaway was absolutely delightful! It wasn't peak season, so there weren't many people, which made for a great experience. The hotel was clean, and our room was huge, with a separate walk-in closet, a balcony, and a bathroom with a tub and a separate wet/dry area. Our child loved it! The views from the hotel were picturesque and refreshing. You should definitely check out Xingping in March when the peach blossoms are in full bloom!
