The room had more sand than the beach. The refrigerator and countertops hadn't been cleaned on years

Great location, very close to everything in town & beach. The rooms & property were very clean & well maintained.

A beautiful place to stay with an amazing beach view. Rooms are spacious and clean but it would be nice to have a broom in each room to sweep up sand. The breakfast buffet was amazing! The only downside was having to pay $40 a day to park in the parking garage or pay by meter if you didn’t want to park in the garage.

Definitely a great stay right on the boardwalk and the beach the room itself was ocean side so the view was great

Rooms were clean and no carpet which is good if you have a pet. Beachfront property but the first floor you can’t see the water.

Christine greeted me, checked me in, handled my parking pass and showed me where I needed to go. She was amazing. Great location and very clean. Will definitely be back.

The location, right on the boardwalk, is excellent. We had two rooms which turned out to be in the annex across the street. That was an issue because I was having some trouble with my foot and preferred being closer to the breakfast, the lobby, etc. In addition both rooms had complete kitchens but no table or chairs. Not even a desk space for a laptop. This makes no sense and I wish there had been a way to know it before booking. Breakfast was nice and we enjoyed the veranda with the fire pit tables in the evening. The front desk folks were lovely and helpful (even though they couldn't switch rooms for us.) And the ocean, of course, was right out front and that was the whole reason for going there.

Our clean was clean and comfortable. The staff was always polite and helpful. The hot breakfast was great. It is a very quiet place to relax and watch the waves roll in. We will be returning as time permits By

We had an oceanfront room on the third floor of the south tower. The room and view were Lovely and the staff was very helpful (even though my room wasn’t ready and it was past the 4pm check-in time). After going to sleep, I was awoken in the middle of the night by a very loud sound I can only describe as a wind tunnel…I was awake most of the night because of it. In the morning I asked if anyone had complained and was told maintenance would check. It wasn’t a motor cycling or any other equipment and could be heard outside the room and down the hall. Less than 45 minutes later, I’m told the folks in the adjoining room left their balcony door open and they would be asked to close it. Seriously!? I got an oceanfront room to hear the ocean and would have had mine open a bit but it made the sound worse. I next asked to cancel the second night and was told it couldn’t be done. They did move me to the second floor oceanfrontt and upon opening the balcony door, the sound was back… not as bad as the top floor but still audible. Never again at this hotel, and I am surprised at Mariott. To top it off, my parting gift was parking fees for the two nights for a total of $40. This was after I asked about a second vehicle and they told me street parking was free since it was off season. Unbelievable. This was most definitely in my top 3 worst hotel stays ever.
