The Greenhouse Hotel

Unfortunately, the pictures provided for the hotel did not match reality. The spa area was non-existent. The 'warm river' was a 7-minute drive and a hike away. However, the hotel advertised this, which was a good selling point for us at the time. Furthermore, the pictures appeared to be AI-altered. The hotel is located on a very busy road, and the rooms are uncomfortably warm, a temperature which cannot be controlled as the heat emanates from the bathroom. Additionally, the room was dusty and not thoroughly cleaned.

In expensive Iceland, this hotel offers good value for money. The hotel boasts a unique and tasteful design; one side of the lobby combines a café, shop, and breakfast area, while the other side houses a bar and food court. During the World Cup, guests were gathered around a large TV, creating a lively atmosphere. The food selection was plentiful, delicious, and reasonably priced.

It's pretty good compared to the surrounding area. You don't need to be too picky here. As long as there's accommodation, it's fine. The hotel is conveniently located near supermarkets, gas stations, etc.
