Red Feather Lodge

I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the Grand Canyon. Before checking into hotels later in Page and Kingman, I was a bit critical of this lodge. However, after experiencing the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Page at Lake Powell and the Hampton Inn & Suites Kingman, I truly appreciated how good this lodge was. If you're interested, you can check out my reviews for those two hotels. While Red Feather Lodge isn't huge, its facilities and amenities are very comprehensive. I recommend booking a room in the main hotel building, as the motel section seems to lack elevators. Ice machines, water dispensers, a laundry room, and coffee by the entrance are all readily available. Cynthia at the front desk was exceptionally good – her service was warm and she answered every question. My only complaints are the noise from the air conditioning and the housekeeping. They didn't greet us, which felt quite impolite in the US where people usually say 'hi,' especially to guests. What's more, they took clothing I had thrown in the trash, pulled it out of the bin, and placed it on my desk! What kind of operation is that? When I returned to the hotel and saw yesterday's discarded clothes on my desk, I was confused and felt offended!

This hotel is a 5-minute drive from the Grand Canyon National Park South Rim Entrance, grouped with other hotels. There's a visitor center and IMAX nearby, as well as several restaurants and a McDonald's. The steakhouse restaurant is quite good. The hotel upgraded our room upon our first check-in.

I booked a motel room but was upgraded to a hotel room upon check-in. The room was spacious and clean. The air conditioning worked well, and the soundproofing was good. They also provided free hot water, coffee, and ice. The pool, though not large, was perfectly adequate. There are many restaurants nearby, making dining convenient. Guests receive a 10% discount at the nearby Mexican restaurant. The bacon burger at Wendy's, with honey added for a surprisingly crispy texture, was amazing. This is the best place to stay when visiting the Grand Canyon. It offers great value for money, and I'm very satisfied.

Excellent hotel! The facilities are complete and made with good quality materials, giving it a classy feel. Free parking is a big plus, and the price is very reasonable. A big thank you to the front desk staff for their patient welcome and explanations. Plus, there's a McDonald's right across the street!

The hotel was very close to the Grand Canyon, very clean, and the staff were friendly. I left a disposable cooler behind, and they even called me internationally to check if I had forgotten it. I was very satisfied.

Red Feather Hotel was a pleasant surprise! The lobby offers complimentary hot coffee and a variety of local teas, which is a nice touch. The rooms come with a microwave and a fridge, making it very convenient for a rest stop during a road trip.

Excellent in every way, from its prime location right on the main street to its amenities (fitness room and pool).

Deplorable welcome. I lost my wallet with my physical credit cards. I usually manage with my digital card, but this hotel didn't have the system to accept it... in 2026! Despite providing proof of payment and the legitimacy of my credit card with its expiration date, the front desk manager would only accept cash or a physical credit card. After an hour of negotiation, she finally called the owners who accepted. Absolutely deplorable.
