The room was very clean. I was particularly impressed by how spacious the bathroom was. The breakfast buffet was also delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised to find iced coffee available.

I booked a king-size bed room, but when I checked in, the front desk informed me that one adult and two children could not stay in one room; I had to book another. I explained that both children were 14 and I wasn't comfortable with them staying alone, and the hotel stated it was a safety requirement. Although they were fully booked, they still managed to arrange connecting rooms for me. They also offered a discounted rate for the children, around half price at over 700. However, I still have doubts about whether one adult and two children truly need two separate rooms, as other hotels I've stayed at previously never had such a requirement.

Our first night in Stockholm was an unexpected surprise! The room was cozy, neat, and clean, with a magnificent cathedral right outside our window. It's only a 5-minute walk from the central station, which was incredibly convenient for catching our train to Oslo the next day. The coffee from the in-room packets was also excellent. This was easily our favorite hotel in Sweden! 👍

I highly recommend the Scandic Continental! The location is absolutely fantastic, right across from the Central Station, with excellent metro and intercity connections. It's incredibly convenient whether you're taking public transport or walking to various attractions in the Old Town. The hotel embodies a minimalist and warm Nordic design aesthetic, with a serene and refreshing decor that is both calming and timeless. The iconic spiral staircase in the lobby is uniquely exquisite, with artistic lines that are truly unforgettable. My entire stay far exceeded expectations. The room had soft, ample natural light, and looking out the window, I could see charming church spires scattered across the cityscape – truly immersing me in the romantic atmosphere unique to an old Nordic town. The hotel itself is quiet and elegant, and the facilities are well-maintained, making it perfectly suited for both short trips and leisurely city explorations.
