Fenghuang Jinshuian River View Hotel

I requested wechat contact via Trip.com a few days before arrival and the hotel responded promptly. I enquired about pick-up and drop-off from the train station and the hotel advised, they can make arrangements but I have to pay the driver directly which I agreed to and they arranged. Looking back on it now,  I'm glad I did because the hotel was right in the middle of the scenic area and getting to it myself or a taxi would have been a nightmare as we had to drive through tight alleyways with pedestrians crossing over the road both ways. There is no DIDI here, I was told. The driver beeped his horn constantly and got us to the hotel in one piece. Checked in immediately and was shown to my room. The room itself was a little tight but the view of the river was fantastic with the lights from buildings reflecting of it. The female staff that showed me to my room advised not to flush tissue down the toilet. That is never a good sign... The bed was soft and comfortable but I feel the bathroom needs a revamp. The shower cubicle was quite tight and you couldn't move in it. There is no breakfast in the hotel itself but there are alot lot of food stands next to the hotel where you can grab something to eat or if you walk up or down the river, there are cafés or restaurants you can pop into. The hotel also recommends their restaurant opposite for dinner or lunch with some percentages off the bill which was a nice perk. Dinner there was awesome! The hotel itself is in a great location and I would no doubt recommend it. The staff are friendly and helpful.

We would like to thank the young lady at the reception for always being so kind and helpful. She was always ready to answer our questions and assist us whenever we needed help during our stay. The room was very spacious and clean. The hotel is in a great location for us. It is easy to reach by taxi, with drop-off right in front of the hotel. The housekeeping staff checked every day to see if we needed anything, which we really appreciated. We also asked for a taxi to the train station, and the hotel arranged one for us at a good price. The taxi was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our family, including our two large suitcases and one carry-on bag. We were very happy with our stay. Thank you so much again! 🙏☺️

Loved this accommodation, amazing view right on the river side. Good location and very friendly staff.

The view overlooking the river was stunning. The staff helped us on multiple occasions and was super nice. The hotel room was clean and the stay was worth it. It was pleasant to be greeted by the hallway cat everyday.

Good for stay, clean and hygienic, the location is good, after entering, you need to close the balcony to avoid mosquitoes flying in at night. The front desk will inform you before check-in. The service attitude is good, highly recommended.❤️🔥
