Chongqing Jiefangbei Hongya Cave Houju High-altitude River-view Hotel

The location is superb! City center... Its just that the hotel is not easy to locate at the first time. Most of staff couldnt speak English, but helpful thru AI translate, but need training for better customer service.. The room is bit small, but clean.but the high rise view is amazing, stayed in 45 th floor.

The view from the hotel lobby and room was beautiful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel lobby with a nice view offers nice window seats with tables which we found to be nice to sit there in the evening and have a drink :)

For this trip to Chongqing, I chose Houju Hotel, and I was very satisfied with the overall experience.✨The location is exceptionally advantageous, situated at the heart of the Liberation Monument, with easy walking access to Hongya Cave and Shibati. Right downstairs is Bayi Food Street, making it convenient for both travel and dining. The high floor offers superb views, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city's night scenery, providing a spacious and atmospheric setting. During the day, you can admire the layered mountain city; at night, you can enjoy the lights of countless homes—every frame looks like a blockbuster scene. The room is equipped with a giant screen projector and a mini refrigerator. The bathroom features a three-way separation, and the retro American-style decoration exudes elegance. The cleanliness is impeccable, with bed linens and bathrooms being tidy and neat. The service is thoughtful and efficient, with fast check-in and complimentary afternoon tea. Issues are addressed promptly. It offers great value for money and is worth staying in when visiting Chongqing.👍

WhatsApp a lovely hotel! They upgraded me and I had a perfect view of the landscape. The bed was comfortable wnd they provided free water and tea and coffee. The mini gym with a view of the city was also a top touch which I enjoyed using. Very good value for money!

The hotel has a nice view. The staff are friendly and helpful. They can help with food ordering (delivery), receive packages (form taobao), laundry service, airport transports, etc.. We had a great time staying here. The only thing is the room is a little bit smaller than the pictures, maybe they used wide angle lens to take the pictures. Also their “gym” is very very small, just 3 machines right next to each other, beside the check in counter. Other than that, amazing hotel! They even gave us afternoon tea snack on the first day. Their flip flops are very comfortable as well. They have a projector for watching Chinese tv shows.

Very nice view of the city, especially by night light. Relatively close to the metro station. Clean room. Minor points of improvement are the slow elevator and the somewhat thin walls (we could hear our neighbour snoring).

The view is superb, with floor-to-ceiling windows on the 45th floor offering a daytime view of the Yangtze River and a nighttime panorama of the city's dazzling skyline, creating an immersive atmosphere. The room cleanliness is impeccable, with the entire space being tidy and odor-free. The three-separate design of the bathroom provides a great user experience. The front desk staff are all very friendly, and our communication was seamless; with the help of a translator, everything went smoothly. We had a wonderful time!

The hotel is on a wonderful location right next to the People's monument. The room was very stylish, they would supply new bottles of water every day and of course the view from the room on the 45th floor is breathtaking. Loved our stay and would return again. We also used the laundry service for 48 cny for a load, very convenient.
