Hotel Indigo HANGZHOU UPTOWN by IHG

Hangzhou Indigo is truly excellent. It includes dinner and breakfast, offers a complimentary minibar, an aromatherapy gift, welcome drinks, fruit, and even a Dyson hairdryer. The room is new and very comfortable. Breakfast is incredibly rich, and the variety and quality of the pastries are absolutely amazing.

This was my second stay, and overall it was excellent. The location is convenient for getting around, and the service is attentive. Next time I'm in Hangzhou, this will definitely be my top choice again.

This Indigo hotel in the uptown area is brand new and beautifully designed! The Song Dynasty theme is seamlessly integrated into every detail of the hotel's design, which is a wonderful surprise. The layout upon entering the hotel is also striking, and there are thoughtful welcome gifts and fruit waiting for you in the room. The bed is incredibly comfortable; I slept soundly all night. The cleanliness and service are both impeccable – attentive, meticulous, and truly making you feel at home. The hotel's location is also super convenient. You can overlook the Qiantang River, and it's very close to West Lake, Lingyin Temple, and MixC shopping mall! The only minor downside is that the bar closes a bit early. Otherwise, everything is excellent.

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and patient. The room's aromatherapy was so soothing, and the cleanliness was impeccable. I had such a comfortable and pleasant stay. The Song Dynasty-inspired design was unique and charming, and the public areas were perfect for photos. We received two complimentary breakfasts at check-in, and the room had beautifully presented welcome fruits. Breakfast was abundant and delicious – the congee was thick and rich with a full selection of side dishes. There was a wide variety of Chinese and Western options, including beautifully crafted breads and cakes, which I unfortunately couldn't eat all of!

This hotel is an absolute gem I discovered! The facilities are excellent, and the double dinner at [Qianchao Steamed Dishes - Ten Bowls] was absolutely delicious. Service: I have to give a huge shout-out to the service here. The welcome staff, front desk receptionists, and the restaurant's front desk and waitstaff were all incredibly professional and polite. More importantly, they all had a strong sense of proactively serving guests! The front desk lady was beautiful and thoughtful. When I asked the welcome staff where the takeout lockers were, he not only explained it in detail but also, fearing I might not find them, specifically added that if I had trouble, I could ask the front desk to guide me. For breakfast, we had a special menu, and the waitress actively reminded us about it, which I hadn't known. Later, when she saw that we had been waiting for quite a while for our order, she proactively went to check on it for us. The dinner, which was included with the room, was the [Qianchao Steamed Dishes - Ten Bowls] double dinner. When the dishes were served, the waitstaff introduced each one individually – truly impeccable service! There was even a pleasant surprise upon departure. The souvenir in the room was an aroma diffuser, and the front desk gave us another scented candle when we checked out. Both were incredibly exquisite and high-quality.

I stayed here before the ***** New Year. The hotel's decor is a vibrant and modern take on Song Dynasty aesthetics, with bold colors that are perfectly coordinated! The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, and arranged a quiet room for us on the 6th floor. The room came with standard amenities like a Dyson hairdryer and Marshall speaker. Breakfast is à la carte, and the Pian'er Chuan noodles were authentic. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Shuichengqiao Metro Station on Line 4. From the hotel, it's just a 10-minute walk to Yuhuang Mountain for hiking. It's also super easy to get to popular spots like West Lake and Wushan Square. It's a peaceful retreat in a lively area, definitely one of my top choices for a Hangzhou getaway.
