Four Seasons Hotel Dalian currently feels like the best hotel in Dalian. Front Desk Manager Carrie provided excellent and thoughtful service. Here's some genuine feedback: The room was very clean, and the service was also very good.

The Four Seasons Hotel Dalian has its front desk on the 41st floor, offering an unbeatable sea view. The seafood dinner was excellent, the red wine was good, and the Western-style pastries in the morning were superb. The only downside is that the prices are a bit high during holidays, but overall, it was a great experience.

An excellent stay experience! Huge kudos to the guest experience team! We arrived at noon and the hotel promptly arranged our room, even giving us an upgrade. The hotel location is fantastic and the room facilities are new. Most importantly, the bed was incredibly comfortable – I truly got some great relaxation. We tried the Yotsuba-Tei Japanese restaurant; the service and food were both amazing. Breakfast goes until 11 AM and is super rich and varied. Knowing we had a flight the next evening, they even arranged a late check-out for us. They also helped us book Xi Ding, which is notoriously difficult to get a reservation for. Oh, and watching the sunset from the hotel lobby is absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend! Next time I'm in Dalian, I will definitely choose the Four Seasons again.

Four Seasons Hotel Dalian consistently delivers high standards. The bedding was so comfortable that I had a wonderful night's sleep. As a hotel reviewer, I was kindly upgraded to an Executive City View Suite, which offered stunning views of both the sea and the cityscape. The room was exceptionally spacious, making for an absolute top-notch experience.

It was my first time staying at a hotel of this caliber, and the service at Four Seasons Hotel Dalian is truly beyond reproach. They contacted us in advance, and knowing we were traveling with a child, they prepared a gift, a cake, and children's toiletries. They also upgraded our room; when we requested a high floor, they put us on the very top floor and gave us a buffet discount voucher, which allowed us to try their buffet dinner. While the selection wasn't huge, the quality was the best I've ever had, and the atmosphere was wonderfully generous. Even now, I can't get over the image of a man in his sixties loading up a whole plate of thick-cut salmon sashimi—probably weighing around a pound—and just going to town on it. Another highlight was that when we came back after taking our child out for the evening, the entire room had been completely tidied up. The experience was just fantastic. From now on, whenever I travel, Four Seasons Hotel Dalian will likely be my first choice wherever there is one.

I especially love the room design: there is a private entryway upon entering, leading all the way to the bedroom, which offers a strong sense of privacy, quietness, and a touch of ceremony. The staff provided meticulous and attentive service. Our butler, Carrie, proactively called us a week in advance to discuss our itinerary and preferences, and thoughtfully helped us arrange everything for our check-in. Four Seasons Hotel Dalian also partners with popular trending restaurants like Xiding and Sakura Chizuru; Carrie helped us secure reservations, saving us the trouble of waiting in line. The entire experience was fantastic. The hotel restaurant delivers great food quality. The breakfast features a rich variety with diverse options, and the taste is wonderful. Considering the hardware, environment, and service as a whole, Four Seasons Hotel Dalian ranks among the top tier in Dalian and is exceptionally well-suited for family trips with children. If I visit Dalian again, this will be my top choice. Highly recommended!

Choosing a luxury hotel like Four Seasons Hotel Dalian really doubles your happiness index. The hotel has a dedicated Guest Experience team that finds out your preferences and estimated arrival time even before you check in. They also provide welcome fruit, and any questions or issues are resolved promptly. The service is warm, and a lovely young lady named Carrier was especially friendly and approachable. The hotel's desserts and chocolates are insanely delicious—I asked about them and found out they use top-tier French Valrhona chocolate. The toiletries in the room have a wonderful, pleasant scent. Dining, ocean views, and shopping are super convenient and all within walking distance. It's so relaxing to head out for a stroll after a good meal, and take a taxi back when you're tired. The reception is on the 41st floor with absolutely stunning views.

I had high hopes for this Four Seasons, but it ended up being a bit of a disappointment. The ambiance and service were a solid 10/10. However, the actual stay left a lot to be desired. The elevators don't go directly to the rooms, so you have to transfer back and forth. Also, all the windows are sealed shut and cannot be opened, which was a nightmare for someone like me with allergic rhinitis. With the A/C on it was too cold, but without it, it was too warm. Overall, I think the hotel is geared more towards a younger crowd. Everyone says the Dalian Four Seasons is the best hotel in Northeast China, especially the breakfast, but having experienced it myself, I beg to differ. The breakfast was just okay—definitely nothing to write home about. I stayed for two days, and the spread was practically identical both mornings. While the service was commendable, cleanliness was top-notch, and the environment was nice, it really comes down to personal preference. Personally, I wouldn't stay here again.
