Hilton Garden Inn Lecce

The stay was nice, good that it had free parking and the breakfast was decent. The room decor was a bit outdated, but nice to have a balcony. For some reason, the night that we were staying, there was a party and music was a bit loud and went on until 1am. The distance to walk to the city is around 15 minutes, probably on the gar side for kids that don't like walking.

Not bad HG Inn Hotel about a 20 min walk to all the tourist attractions within the City. Room and bathroom were larger than expected and a big plus was real pillows, yes I mean real pillows!! Lovely and soft and not the high density polyester type that most hotels use now to save a few $$$$. Unfortunately the inhouse internet service appeared to be hacked during the last two days of my stay with my works provided Norton Software Package indicating that the hotels site had been cloned? Lots of breakfast staff present at the weekend milling around the breakfast area but sadly none could say good morning to their paying guests and were put out if you asked for assistance. Sadly this was the deal breaker as I was on a business trip. However if you are on vacation its a good solid HG Inn Property.

Amazing experience, quiet room, big space, clean and comfortable

Too old and no good enough.

Then pool was okay but the birds kept on flying in and drinking from it so I got out of there to avoid avian flu which would have destroyed my vacation. They need to really keep the birds out of the pool. They also don’t have a clothing steamer or irons so you might need to wear your wrinkly clothes or pay them and they return it back ironed the next day. The toilets had low water pressure so sometimes to took like 3-5 flushes to get rid of all the toilet paper and poop. The location is about 1 km from the city centre and a bit further from the Leece station. The breakfast was comprehensive and had the standard things like hams, cheeses, pancake machine and ice creams and gelato for 15eu . This is probably a good value since a pasta is about 10-13 eu nearby anndni nthe city centre including the taxes. I don’t know if I’d stay here again.
