Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou

This hotel has excellent service. The entire property smells wonderful and feels very luxurious. The food is also delicious, and the executive lounge is great – perfect for a photo op!

The location is excellent, the room is clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the sound insulation is good. The front desk check-in was efficient, and the service was gentle and polite. The location is convenient for travel, the hot water is stable, and it's an old five-star hotel with a classic, 'old money' style decor. I will choose to stay here again next time I visit.

Absolutely fantastic! Everything was perfectly arranged. The Trip.com customer service was very prompt in intervening when there were issues. The hotel manager and front desk staff were all very enthusiastic and resolved problems quickly.

My child had such a wonderful experience at the Mandarin Oriental Sanya that they decided to visit all Mandarin Oriental hotels in China, starting with Guangzhou. Upon check-in, we found leftover takeaway packaging from the previous guest in our room. However, the hotel's housekeeping staff responded immediately, presented a small panda toy for my child in the family room, and cleaned thoroughly afterward, providing an ample supply of amenities. The room design is beautiful, though the floor-to-ceiling window view wasn't particularly scenic (lots of tall, drab buildings). My child said it looked like the clouds were learning to shapeshift when viewed from the bed. The gym is exceptionally well-maintained, and the pool water temperature is very comfortable. As soon as you exit the pool, an attendant offers a towel – a service experience not even found at the Four Seasons. Breakfast is semi-buffet style, which is great because too many choices can be overwhelming. I highly recommend the freshly made congee and French toast. By the way, there's an incredibly delicious Bing Sheng restaurant right across the street. And, don't go to Lei Garden; it's terrible.

The Executive Lounge at Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou is excellent. Aside from one staff member who seemed a bit stern, the other service personnel were all incredibly warm and polite, making us feel right at home. The food inside was also fantastic. Although the cocktails were a bit subpar, the overall experience was still very positive, earning high praise from both myself and my boss. The public area's pool and Jacuzzi experience were also great, and the sauna and warm pool in the changing rooms were equally impressive. The room itself was also quite good.

The room was clean and the aromatherapy scent was very pleasant. The staff's service was excellent, even preparing slippers for us, which deserves praise. The surrounding environment is good, making it convenient for getting around, and there are places to go for families with children.

The experience at Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou exceeded my expectations! A special thanks to Alisa, the Housekeeping Manager, for her thoughtful arrangements, Nancy for her meticulous cleaning, Yuby for her warm service, Betty GR for her enthusiastic reception, and Varka FO for her efficient assistance. Every staff member made me feel incredibly welcome, truly like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

I really love the culture of Guangzhou; it's so charming and distinctly Eastern. The attention to detail is superb, and the food is excellent. The newly opened 'Tang' restaurant on the fourth floor, which offers fusion cuisine, is also outstanding. It's definitely worth another visit. My kids also really enjoyed the outdoor pool.

Having chatted with a manager during afternoon tea at the Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen, who thoroughly explained their operating philosophy to me, I chose the Mandarin Oriental for my Guangzhou trip this time to experience it firsthand. Although it's an older five-star hotel, the service here is truly impressive. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, the staff greeted us with professional attitudes and warm smiles, impeccably dressed, showcasing the brand's elegance in every detail. Room service was even more exquisite and attentive; the bedding was comfortable, amenities complete, and cleaning meticulous, with even the corners spotless. Whether it was guiding us through check-in or responding to daily requests, their high level of professionalism was evident. The overall experience was comfortable and reassuring; it's a hotel that truly excels in service, highly recommended. 1) Despite being in a bustling area, it's exceptionally quiet, perfect for introverts. 2) Getting around is incredibly convenient. This was the only time I've ever traveled entirely by subway without feeling any inconvenience. 3) Taikoo, where the hotel is located, along with nearby Central Plaza and Zhengjia Plaza, can satisfy all kinds of shopping needs. 4) The hotel's shower water pressure is excellent, and the bathtub is comfortable.
