A very comfortable stay! The bedding was clean and cozy, the staff were friendly, and the hotel facilities were excellent. There's a Chinese fast food restaurant and a McDonald's just past the lobby, and plenty of other restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. The hotel's exterior design is fantastic! It's just a shame I didn't get a room with a park view this time; the rooms facing the park are especially nice.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. There are several dining options downstairs, including McDonald's 🍔 which the kids loved. Right outside, you'll find Royal Park 🛝, and the zoo isn't far either – everything is close by.

To be honest, the view is great and it's convenient to get to the City with buses 58 and 59 right outside. However, housekeeping was a bit of an issue. I initially placed the used towels on the rack and hung the 'make up room' sign, but they weren't replaced. I then found a housekeeper and told them my request and room number, but when I returned in the evening, they still hadn't been replaced. Since it was late and my last night, I didn't bother asking again. Also, the air conditioning was a bit difficult to adjust. Overall though, it was pretty good! 👍

The room was spotless and quiet, just the right size. The bathroom was excellent, with a powerful and hot shower. Facing the park, we had a lovely view of the lawn and outdoor play area for children. It's connected to the Royal Children's Hospital, and there are a few McDonald's and fast-food options nearby. There's also a supermarket accessible via a covered walkway, stocking essential daily items, though it closes at 5 PM.

What a gem of a hotel! The price was lower than in the city center, and the hotel itself was very new and beautiful. There are some cafes and a McDonald's nearby, and a BBQ place across the street that's open late, so you won't have trouble finding food. You can take a free tram to the city center, which takes about ten minutes, and the trams run every ten minutes or so. Highly recommended! For getting from the airport, I suggest taking a taxi directly; for two people, it's not much more expensive than the bus.

Easy access to trams but not near city centre. Still only 10mins away on tram to Vic market and Melb central. If family or loved ones are at any of the main royal hospitals - women’s, Royal Melbourne or children’s, this hotel is the perfect location. Clean and comfortable but television is old and only has normal television channels, no streaming services that you can use. Not the end of the world but disappointing if you look forward to catching up and relaxing with your favourite shows on streaming services like Netflix. The artwork I found disturbing, not to my taste. Over all nice hotel.

This was a truly delightful choice. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and the location was excellent. I especially want to commend Kathleen at the front desk; she was incredibly helpful. On our first day, we had a minor issue with the drain, and she quickly resolved it for us. She was super responsible! I would definitely return to The Larwill Studio Melbourne - Art Series. Highly recommended.

I stayed here twice. The first time I was in room type 07. Wow! It was amazing! The window overlooked the large lawn of Queen Park. Every morning, the first thing I did after waking up was to make a cup of tea and sit by the window to watch the sky, the clouds, people walking their dogs, and jogging. The second time I stayed in room type 23. Although the view from the window wasn't as good as room 07, I could see the skyscrapers of the CBD in the distance, which was a different kind of experience! The room hygiene was excellent! You can stay here with peace of mind!

I like the theme of the hotel. Located next to the Royal Park, and our room window overlooked it. Like the tranquillity it provides. Provide a parking facility with fees, not too far from Melbourne University.
