JI Hotel (Datong Dayou Plaza)

Super, super good! The hotel's location is convenient; it's a 5-minute taxi ride to the ancient city, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The hygiene and service are excellent. I particularly recommend the breakfast. There's a wide variety, and all the dishes taste great. I especially loved the sweet and sour pork ribs; it was even better than what I've had at restaurants, incredibly fragrant! The hot dishes for breakfast always include seafood, and the other hot dishes are also very well-prepared. What's more, they changed daily during my three-day stay, which was truly amazing! 👍 Furthermore, the service at this hotel is incredibly thoughtful, as evidenced by two small details. First, the lobby offers complimentary fruit (the cherry tomatoes were delicious, and there were also mini peaches and oranges) and tea. Datong is very dry, so having some fruit to snack on when you're out and about makes a big difference. Second, they even provide foot soak tubs in the evening, along with a bottle of hot water for refills. After a long day of walking, soaking your feet to relieve fatigue is a really nice touch!

The Hanting Hotel at Dayou Plaza is truly top-notch! They have underground parking, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious – the knife-cut noodles are to die for. The millet cake is even better than what you get at Longjuxiang or Kaige (just my personal preference, no offense intended!). Plus, they offer complimentary fruit in the evenings. The best part? With all this rain lately, they even have a shoe dryer! Highly recommend this place!

Traveling from Suzhou, I stayed for three nights. The hotel's overall environment is quite good, and the breakfast spread is excellent. The location is also great, making it very convenient to visit the ancient city. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful, always trying their best to accommodate requests. 👍

The room isn't huge, but it's quite convenient, and the food delivery robot was very prompt. The location is excellent; it's a short taxi ride to the ancient city, and there's a direct bus (route 35) right outside. Nearby are the Parkson and Xingmao Hui malls with lots of great food and drink options. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. The lamb offal vermicelli, knife-cut noodles, and yellow rice cold cake were my favorites. They changed up the menu daily with crispy chicken wings, large shrimp, braised pork belly buns, and chive pockets. My child doesn't like vegetables, but he happily munched on the cucumbers provided in the lobby every day. There was always a sweet soup in the evening, sometimes mung bean soup, other times pear and red date soup. The only minor drawbacks were that on the morning we went to Yungang, I tried to wash my hair, but the shower water was completely cold the whole time – I had to endure it. Other evenings, the shower water was fine. Also, the hairdryer got very hot and wasn't powerful enough; an upgrade would be great. The bathroom glass is a bit too transparent; I'm not sure if this is the case for the twin rooms too, but if you're not family, parents with children, or of the same gender, it could feel a bit inconvenient.

The facilities, service, location, and ambiance are all top-notch. The rooms are new, clean, and tidy. They offer complimentary fruit in the lobby and even deliver soothing milk in the evenings. It's not too far from the ancient city, and it's very convenient to find local noodle dishes nearby. The only downside is that the rooms aren't very spacious; the family room has two 1.5-meter beds, and no extra beds can be added.

The experience at Hanting Premium (Ji Hotel) now surpasses that of many star-rated hotels. The underground parking has plenty of spacious spots, not cramped at all, and the service is great. They provide ample drinking water, and I must comment on the breakfast. I usually skip breakfast at Ji Hotels, but the food here was genuinely good, and the coffee was excellent. There's a wide variety of breakfast items, and what's more, staff members are on hand to maintain everything. Very impressed. The location is also very convenient; I walked to a well-known old-brand restaurant.

Extremely satisfied! It's quiet, clean, and close to the attractions. Highly recommended! The breakfast is plentiful and they even offer free popsicles to cool off. Breakfast exceeded expectations, with a really wide variety of options!

Easy to find and convenient parking. The breakfast definitely deserves praise – a wide variety, with congee and noodles, which was super convenient. The room was spacious and the bed was very soft. I originally booked a tatami room, but the front desk lady upgraded me to a twin room because of my back pain ❤️ Excellent service, highly recommend!
