Cambria Hotel Omaha Downtown

Great Stay! Had to be there for a whole week for business, the beds were so comfortable, everything was very clean and the staff were lovely! Also a great location, there are great coffee shops and restaurants all within walking distance.

I wanted to give this hotel a 5 star review, but had to give it 3 instead, because my black out screen didn't work and I got baked in my hotel room during sunrise. Additionally, the fire alarm went off on my floo, in my room, at 9am, for about 20 or 30 seconds, but enough to interrupt my morning. Pluses at the hotel: Very friendly staff. Airport transportation included. Very clean property. Great location. Good amenities. Nice room (except for the non working blackout blinds).

Offered a single key for our 2 night stay. A/C turns off every few hours even when you're occupying the room. Water pressure low and varies from poor to worse. Lost hot water during my shower which was reported to be a "boiler issue"

Staff was excellent and very helpful. Restaurant had a great menu the food was great and prices were reasonable. Cozy rooms.

The stay was fine, nice that they have a shuttle to Creighton campus. I am disappointed however because I left a very expensive item in the room, which I’m aware is my fault, but the hotel didn’t seem to make much of an effort to find it.

This hotel had a good location. It was relatively close to the airport, and the little millwork area has some good restaurants. Probably a 10 minute walk to Creighton University.I was generally underwhelmed by this property primarily due to the employees. Every question I asked, the primary or initial response was no. One of the reasons I picked the property was because of the airport shuttle. Be mindful that it runs from the hotel every half hour, it doesn’t just come to get you. So we called for the shuttle at 2:05PM. The shuttle wasn’t going to leave intill 230 and it wouldn’t get to us until 245. SO WE JUST TOOK A $12 UBER FROM THE AIRPORT. This is not convenient. If I had that expectation initially, it would’ve been fine but that is not what the hotel said. When I called days before my arrival they said just call and we will come get you! Other than that, it is like a mid range hotel that’s on the newer side that DOES NOT include a free breakfast.

Everything was great. The only suggestion I would offer would be for the hotel to consider looking at the rooms in the dark. There are a multitude of really bright lights on various pieces of equipment and technology in the room that stay on throughout the night. It’s so bright in the room with the lights off that it woke me up multiple times during the night. Other than that, we had a great stay!

Most of the hotel stay was fine; however, the room we had was very dirty. The first thing I noticed were some footprints in the bathroom that looked like someone had stepped in something and walked around. They were not just footprints left by walking on a wet floor. There is no way that the floor had been mopped prior to our stay. The next thing we noticed that was totally disgusting was that their was a french fry on the couch. It was under a table that went over the couch but gross!! The final straw that led to a review was we found a "squishy" toy right out in the open on the floor. There was clearly no cleaning done before our stay or a very poor cleaning effort. The hotel in general needs some deep cleaning and some updating. There is definitely no attention to detail.
