Regent Chongqing

The most beautiful night view of the mountain city, hidden in the gentle details of Regent Chongqing 🌙 True luxury is never about extravagant decor, but about service that is just right and perfectly measured. We were treated with meticulous care and gentleness throughout our stay. The staff were warm yet discreet, attentive but never intrusive. Because we had a package 📦, they thoughtfully prepared a tool for opening it for us, along with a local travel map 🗺️, local snacks, beer, and drinks 🍸. From the check-in guidance, thoughtful amenities, and attentive room service, to patiently resolving every small issue, countless small, heartwarming details made us feel incredibly at ease. The river view is vast, the night scenery dazzling, and the service even more heart-healing. The best decision for our trip to Chongqing was to stay at the Regent and be gently pampered throughout our journey.

Undoubtedly the top choice. Lying in bed admiring Chongqing's night view, soaking in the tub listening to music, watching the monorail slowly pass by. The Two Rivers Bar also has a fantastic ambiance, very chill and worth a try. A delightful interlude in the heart of Chongqing.

Regent Chongqing not only boasts a superb location, but it truly sets the bar for hotel service. They've thought of absolutely everything. From pillow preferences, in-room telescopes, and flower petal bubble baths to thoughtful arrival route planning and various considerate little gifts, what really impressed me was the complimentary minibar, including alcoholic beverages and snacks – incredibly generous! All three of the hotel's restaurants and its bar are must-visits in Chongqing. The bar, in particular, has a fantastic vibe. As a hotel guest, we not only had the minimum spend waived for our sofa table but also received two complimentary cocktails. The bar staff were incredibly observant and always attentive to our needs. ☝🏼The only minor drawback is that the hotel uses a fully enclosed fresh air system for the beds. While the temperature control was excellent, it did get a little humid during consecutive rainy days. When we left, we took all the gifts and the minibar drinks with us, haha! So happy to have eaten, drunk, and received so much. I love Regent and will definitely be back!

The hotel's facilities still have some flaws and don't seem meticulously maintained. The service, however, was as good as advertised. The à la carte breakfast options were quite good, but the buffet selection was a bit limited. If you like yogurt, though, you'll be happy as there were several cabinets full of it.

Excellent location, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. The room was clean and quiet, and I especially loved the double vanity – so convenient! The breakfast was rich and delicious, and they even gave us face masks as a nice touch.

This was my first time visiting Chongqing with my kids, and among many options, I chose the Regent Hotel. We stayed for 2 days and were very satisfied overall. The hotel was incredibly thoughtful, preparing little gift bags for the kids to help them stay cool. Our butler, Linda, was very responsive throughout the day. I have to commend the hotel's complimentary laundry service – it's a lifesaver for travelers who find it inconvenient to wash clothes on the road.

Regent Hotel. First and foremost, the location is excellent, situated on the north bank of the Jialing River, close to all popular attractions. From the hotel, you can enjoy Chongqing's most beautiful night views, including Hongya Cave. A short walk of a few hundred meters from the hotel takes you to the riverside, where the scenery on the opposite bank is truly spectacular. Secondly, the hotel is exceptionally clean, spotless even, and the in-room facilities are comprehensive with a very well-thought-out functional layout. What particularly impressed me was the hotel's superb service; every staff member possessed a high level of professionalism, making guests feel right at home. The Regent Xuan restaurant within the hotel is also fantastic, offering high-quality dishes at reasonable prices. We had two meals there and were very satisfied. In my opinion, the Regent is the top hotel choice for a trip to Chongqing.

The hotel service was excellent and very thoughtful, including laundry service. The bar and Chinese restaurant were also great, and breakfast was a delightful surprise. I look forward to staying again; it was a wonderful experience.

The room decor is a bit old-fashioned, and some power outlets are loose, so my charger often came unplugged, and they were quite far from the bed. However, the view is beautiful, breakfast is amazing, and the service is excellent. The bar at Liangjiang Hall in the evening also offers a nice view. The late check-out service was very well handled. It truly lives up to its reputation as a seasoned star-rated hotel.
