Regent Chongqing

Chongqing's most luxurious hotel, hands down. The staff's service was incredibly warm and attentive without feeling overbearing – it felt genuinely natural, which was fantastic. And the rooms? Unbeatable. A perfect blend of aesthetics and comfort.

It's rare to describe a hotel as 'flawless', but the Regent truly lives up to it. From check-in to check-out, I couldn't find a single flaw – even if I were nitpicking, I'd still give it a 99 out of 100. Definitely book a river-view room if you can (or an executive room if your budget allows); the night view is absolutely unbeatable. Failing that, you can always enjoy a drink at the Two Rivers Bar on the seventh floor and soak in the fun of admiring Hongyadong from afar. I initially wanted to mention a few staff members by name, but after thinking about it, everyone was so excellent that I'll just commend the entire team instead.

This was my first stay at the Regent Chongqing, and here are my thoughts: 1. **Excellent Service**: The service was incredibly attentive. There were plenty of staff members, from the lobby entrance to every functional area, and they were all very thorough and thoughtful. 2. **Spacious, Well-Appointed Room**: The room featured a traditional Chinese design and was quite large (57 sqm). It was fully equipped with a Nespresso machine and a refrigerator. The minibar offered local Chongqing snacks, Tianfu Cola, beer, wine, and more, all complimentary. The room also came with custom Regent-branded bottled water, and they provided an abundance of it. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, a bathtub, and a double vanity, with all toiletries being custom Regent brand. There was also a separate walk-in closet. 3. **Abundant Perks**: The room came with a generous amount of complimentary perks, covering everything from laundry services to shopping discounts. 4. **Exquisite Breakfast**: Breakfast was very refined and tasted fantastic. What was most impressive was the ability to order à la carte, with numerous staff members available to deliver food directly to your table. This level of service surpasses many five-star hotels. 5. **Great Facilities**: The hotel's pool was excellent, not crowded, and had attentive staff. The spa center was very professional and reasonably priced. 6. **Personalized Concierge Service**: The hotel butler contacted me in advance to ensure all my check-in needs were met. I was able to check in as early as 11 AM and check out past 1 PM. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and comes highly recommended.

Having stayed at countless luxury hotels worldwide, the Regent Chongqing consistently leaves the deepest impression on me. This trip to Chongqing, I once again chose to return here. My second visit solidifies my praise! The butler service, the speed of service response, the efficiency of laundry delivery, and the overall service from room upgrades to room setup and attention to detail – I truly cannot find a single flaw with this hotel. The views are top-tier for Jiangbeizui, the rooms are tranquil, and the night view of the two rivers is absolutely stunning. The interior decor is elegant and tasteful. The lighting deserves a special mention. What's most commendable is the perfect balance in their service – it's private and thoughtful, never intrusive, with meticulous care evident in every detail. In an era where luxury hotels often suffer from homogenization, the Regent Chongqing stands out with its unique quality of service. It truly lives up to its reputation as the pinnacle of luxury hotels in this mountain city, and I will undoubtedly return again and again. Once again, kudos to all the service and management staff – a truly well-deserved, exceptional review!

The hotel's location is great, very close to the Grand Theater and Qiansimen Bridge. The service is excellent, and the mini-bar offers a wide selection of complimentary snacks, alcoholic beverages, and soft drinks. The facilities are very new, leaning towards high-end business, with a refined, 'old money' feel.

The room was great, and the location was excellent. The hotel staff were incredibly polite throughout my stay, always guiding me and offering to help with my luggage. The overall experience was fantastic. They even have staff deliver food orders to your room, making it a place where you could comfortably spend the whole day. I'm not sure if I'll visit Chongqing again, but I would definitely come back just for this hotel! ☺️

It was a scorching summer when I visited Chongqing, and after browsing countless hotel reviews, I finally settled on the Regent – and what a great choice it was! I booked a twin room with a river view. I absolutely loved the welcome gift I received after checking in. Our butler, Rita, was incredibly efficient and responded to our requests promptly. I also really enjoyed the breakfast. The complimentary service of washing three items of clothing per person per day was an absolute lifesaver; otherwise, on such hot days, I’d have to bring back a suitcase full of smelly t-shirts. The butler cabinet also exceeded my expectations, allowing me to receive items without any disturbance. Every single staff member was incredibly polite. The Regent will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Chongqing.
