Divan Cukurhan Hotel

I had to book this hotel last minute because my original hotel had a gas leak. Its location is great for those traveling by car, as it's right at the entrance of the ancient castle. If you're only staying one night in Ankara, I think this hotel is a good choice. At least the sunset view from the castle is beautiful – probably the only scenery worth seeing in Ankara. However, this hotel is quite surprising. Despite its non-cheap price, when I asked for a few extra bottles of water, they actually charged me for them. I really didn't expect that. The hotel breakfast isn't a buffet; it's served individually per person. The taste is moderate, and there aren't many options. The hotel's strong point is that it includes a ticket to its own museum. I checked, and buying a separate ticket for this museum isn't cheap. The exhibits inside are definitely worth seeing. For this aspect, I'd still recommend it.

So many flies, I was swatting them all night. On the plus side, the hotel's museum was quite fun; you could spend two hours there, and it's free for guests.

Excellent location and service. The restaurant, in particular, has a superb chef. However, it was a bit disappointing that there was no refrigerator in the room.

This is probably the only place I liked in Ankara.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were very kind and attentive. The rooms were clean and spacious.

The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was very good. We stayed for 2 nights in a room overlooking the courtyard. There was a business dinner in the courtyard in the evening, which was very noisy for hours. Also, it was odd that there was no refrigerator in the room.

It was alright, nothing special.
