Leonardo Hotel London Aldgate

All-around excellent! Right next to Aldgate tube station, it's very close to the City of London, Tower Bridge, and other attractions. I got a free room upgrade, and the room was quiet, spacious, and clean, with snacks, a toothbrush, slippers, a coffee machine, kettle, and ironing board. The Jin Pineapple Skybar on the rooftop has a great view, though the drinks are a bit pricey, around £21 per cocktail. The front desk and cleaning staff provided excellent service. I'd definitely stay here again next time!

For such an expensive hotel, the air conditioning wasn't cool enough and the pillows smelled. I got a different room which was better. Also, everyone should be careful with their belongings, as you might not get them back if you leave them at the hotel. The picture shows the view from a suite, just for your reference. The air conditioning in the suite was actually very good. I lost my metro card in the suite bathroom, and they said they didn't find it. I can't prove they took it, so next time, remember not to leave things lying around! 😂

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Leonardo. The rooms were practically furnished and had everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fridge, air conditioning, and a tea/coffee station. The king-size bed was very comfortable, and we had a fantastic view of the London skyscrapers, like The Gherkin. The bathroom was fully equipped with a hairdryer and various toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, and hand soap. The electronic 'do not disturb' sign was a great touch.

The hotel is located near London Tower Bridge, and there are two Sky Garden buildings nearby, which offer free panoramic views of London.

The room was decent, and the location was super convenient. I looked at a lot of hotels, and this one offered the best value for money. It's really ideal for anyone who understands London's public transport system.

The hotel is right next to Aldgate station, with a bus stop nearby. It's an easy walk to Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, and the sightseeing bus stop. The location is its biggest advantage. The room size is also decent. Breakfast is made to order, which means it's fresh, but the downside is you might have to wait during peak hours. I assume it's due to high labor costs, as there were only 1-2 staff members serving in the restaurant, so finishing breakfast in 20 minutes if you're in a hurry would be challenging. Check-in took a long time because they noted my child's surname was different from mine. They said it took extra time to confirm due to safety concerns. Honestly, the experience wasn't good. It shows the hotel hasn't trained its front desk staff on cultural differences, as many countries don't have wives taking their husband's surname. There are also more efficient ways to verify information than for them to ponder and then make a phone call.
