Wellington Hotel

Second time staying at this hotel, and it's simply nice. The ambiance is elegant and quiet, creating a very cozy feel. The service is excellent and attentive, and the location is very convenient. Will definitely book again in the future!

Out of the three hotels I stayed at in Chongqing, this one was by far the best. Although it's not in the main urban area, I got a room upgrade. The hotel is newly renovated and very comfortable. They offer a late-night snack service, and the cold noodles (liangfen) were delicious. They even gave us local specialty souvenirs and iced jelly (bingfen). When we needed something, a robot delivered it right to our room, which was a stark contrast to the first two hotels where the service was, to say the least, disappointing. All in all, this was the most satisfying hotel stay during my Chongqing trip.

An excellent experience, I'll definitely book again next time. The night view of Chongqing is stunning, truly wonderful. I'll be back to visit Chongqing again. The hotel is superb, they even provide slippers and toiletries for children, and there's a late-night snack service. They've thought of everything!

The hotel is grand and beautiful. The breakfast is rich and varied, and the 'xiaomian' (a type of noodle) is deliciously chewy. The front desk staff has a great service attitude. The transportation is convenient; it's quick to get around by car to any attraction. The only downside is that it's quite far from the subway station, so you can only take the bus. However, enjoying the up and down ride on the bus is also a pleasant experience.

It's a bit of a walk from the subway station, about 10-15 minutes. It's also a bit far from tourist attractions. It might be suitable for business trips, but perhaps a bit inconvenient for tourists. There aren't many restaurants nearby either. I booked a room without breakfast, but then realized there are very few breakfast places around. It's quite inconvenient, so if I were to book this hotel again, I'd definitely choose a room with breakfast.

This isn't my first time staying at The Wellington, and I'm always impressed by their thoughtful service and great ambiance. The location is super convenient, with Xinguangli and Guanyin Bridge business district both very close by. My kids especially love it here.

The hotel's policy on children's breakfast fees is truly outrageous. They charged for breakfast for kids over 1.2 meters, and children over 1.4 meters were charged 68 yuan per person. Yet, my child only had some porridge and milk. The breakfast was terrible, and what's worse, they seemed to charge people inconsistently (some kids who met the height requirement were charged, while others weren't). The front desk didn't even mention this upon check-in. This is such a bizarre practice, I've never encountered a hotel like this before.
