Albergo Delle Regioni, Barberini - Fontana di Trevi

This has been the most satisfying hotel I've ever booked! So much so that I had to leave a review after my stay. Location: Albergo Delle Regioni, Barberini - Fontana di Trevi is near the Barberini metro station, making it super convenient to get around. You can walk to the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, and there's a bus stop right outside that goes to Borghese. The Vatican is just a few metro stops away. Plus, there are tons of restaurants nearby, and the front desk staff even gave us a recommended list! Facilities: The air conditioning in the room was incredibly powerful, and the bathroom was very clean with excellent hot water. The only minor thing was that the shower door was only a half-door, so water would spill onto the floor, but Albergo Delle Regioni, Barberini - Fontana di Trevi provided plenty of bath mats, so it wasn't really an issue. Cleanliness: I stayed for three days, and the room was meticulously cleaned every single day. Service: The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and greeted us warmly every day. During check-in, they enthusiastically explained how to get to various attractions from Albergo Delle Regioni, Barberini - Fontana di Trevi. We even received complimentary pasta upon arrival, and Baci chocolates every day thereafter. Important notes: It seems the front desk is only staffed from 9 AM to 5 PM. If you're checking in outside of these hours, be sure to email Albergo Delle Regioni, Barberini - Fontana di Trevi in advance, otherwise, you might have trouble checking in. Also, the hotel entrance doesn't look like what Google Maps shows; it's just a normal door. The first time you're looking for it, pay attention to the picture provided. The main entrance also requires a key, so coming back to Albergo Delle Regioni, Barberini - Fontana di Trevi after a day out felt like coming home every night.

The front desk staff were really friendly, but the room itself was incredibly small and outdated. The bathroom was tiny, barely enough space to turn around, and the soundproofing was terrible. I could clearly hear Koreans arguing next door, and when they showered, the noise was deafening in my room. However, it is very close to the attractions. Don't expect much, it's pretty much on par with a Seven Days Inn or Super 8, so don't pay a high price for it.

Overall, it was good and comfortable, simple and straightforward. One day, there was no hot water for the shower, so I rushed the Italian guy to leave, and it made him anxious... Hahaha

Nice hotel in the city center. Clean, everything went according to plan, and well-organized. The only downside is that the rooms aren't ideally soundproofed. Noise from the shower or normal conversations in adjoining rooms was too audible.

The location was good, so I was able to travel around on foot, and the room was clean. All the staff were friendly. I think the small size of the rooms is unavoidable given the nature of hotels in Rome. They provide unlimited tap water, juice, milk, and coffee. Thanks to the kind staff member who spoke Korean during checkout, I think this will be a memorable experience for a long time.
