A quiet hotel in a bustling area, super convenient for dining, massages, and the beach! I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in Patong!

Although the room wasn't huge, it was very clean. We booked a room with direct pool access, and while the price was quite high during Chinese New Year, the overall service was excellent. During our stay, my child had a fever and threw up on the sheets and pillowcases, and they were replaced promptly. The pool, though not very large, was incredibly comfortable. Just a note: maybe reduce the amount of disinfectant, as it felt a bit strong. The most important thing was the wide variety of breakfast options, perfect for Chinese tastes. They even specially prepared a buffet dinner on Chinese New Year's Day, and we ate until we were stuffed! Plus, the cookies at the front desk were delicious. When we were hungry, the front desk staff were very kind and offered them to us twice.

Location: The hotel boasts an excellent location – far enough from the bustling Bangla Road to ensure peace, yet conveniently close to Patong Beach. There's a back exit that leads right across the street to the beach. Service: The staff are very friendly, and room cleaning is thorough each day. All drinks in the minibar are complimentary and restocked promptly. We also received six bottles of drinking water daily. Cleanliness: Good, and amenities were replenished daily. Facilities: The only minor issue was that the sink in the bathroom drained a bit slowly, but everything else was great. The room was spacious, and the balcony offered a nice view of the pool. We often saw pigeons on the balcony.

Let me start by mentioning a previous booking I made for a resort in Phuket. The day before check-in, I was informed there were no rooms available, even though my booking was non-cancellable. I was extremely angry and couldn't understand why this happened. However, Trip.com's hotel concierge was excellent, actively communicating and working on the issue until around 11 or 12 at night. Eventually, Trip.com covered a significant portion of the cost and rebooked us into this Phuket resort. We booked two rooms. The cheaper one was closer to the road, and its facilities were a bit dated and noisy. The hotel has a very open management style; you can access the lobby directly from the road near Patong Beach, and then proceed to the rooms. The elevators don't require key card access, which made me wonder if anyone could just walk up to the room doors. The room further back overlooked the hotel pool, offering a beautiful view, but it didn't have a bathtub. For a hotel priced over 2,000, I didn't feel the decor, amenities, and environment offered great value for money. The breakfast, however, was quite plentiful.

1. The room was very clean. I brought a filtered shower head, an electric kettle, and a disposable travel kit, but didn't need to use any of them. I think some online reviews overstate the issues with Phuket hotels; it's really not necessary. The hotel's location is also excellent. There's a back exit that leads directly across the street to Patong Beach, which is super convenient. It's also about a 15-minute walk to Jungceylon Shopping Center. 2. The hotel is split into an old building and a new building, and the pools are separate. Only rooms designated 'Prestige' (尊贵) can access the new pool. While I wasn't overly concerned about it, I hope the hotel can improve this. It felt a bit like there was a class division, a bit discriminatory. 3. I booked the hotel through Trip.com, so I couldn't earn Holiday Inn points. I wish Trip.com and the hotel would sort this out. As someone who frequently chooses Holiday Inn both domestically and internationally, the front desk simply said: 'Thank you for your loyalty. While booking through our official website might be a bit more expensive, you can earn points to make up for it.' Not allowing points seems unreasonable to me. Plus, at least Marriott offers a welcome fruit platter or drink voucher. 4. Breakfast was decent, but there were flies, especially in the outdoor seating area. Although I felt the staff cleaned up quite promptly, the hotel needs to address the fly issue. There were also flies buzzing around the loungers by the pool, which was a bit off-putting. 5. Finally, the biggest issue: rooms facing the street are extremely noisy. You can hear passing vehicles very clearly at night, especially the Muay Thai advertising trucks. Furthermore, the soundproofing in the rooms is quite poor; you can easily hear people talking in the corridor or in adjacent rooms. 6. Also, a room service tray from the neighboring room wasn't cleared promptly. It sat in the hallway for a very long time (from the first night until noon the next day).
