A Little Gem in Huangshan, with Hospitality We Will Never Forget The Bamboo Hotel was one of the most wonderful surprises of our trip. From the very first moment, we found a warm, elegant, and beautifully designed atmosphere, with every detail carefully thought out. It is a true little gem, a charming design hotel where everything reflects taste, care, and attention. But what truly makes this place special are the people. The owner and his entire family are incredibly kind and genuine people. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, looked after, and truly cared for. Their sincere hospitality made our stay even more memorable. They helped us from the very beginning, arranging a driver for us, carefully explaining how to organize our excursion to Huangshan Mountain, and even suggesting what we could do the following day. The owner’s father was so kind that he personally accompanied us to the bus station so we could reach the mountain. Every evening there was always a thoughtful gesture waiting for us: a drink offered after dinner, a coffee, a friendly conversation, and above all, the feeling of being guests of a family rather than simply customers of a hotel. We had a truly wonderful stay and will never forget the hospitality we received. This is a place we wholeheartedly recommend, and we sincerely hope to return one day.

We loved our stay at the Bamboo. It is a beautiful and recently built hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff. The room was gorgeous and the location is good to explore the nearby town and as a base from which to explore the Yellow Mountain area. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the bamboo holiday was great! We stayed for two nights to hike Huangshan. The hotel drops you off at the bus station for free and on the way back the shuttle bus that drives down the mountain stops directly in front of the hotel, so it was the perfect location for hikers. The included breakfast was plentiful and it was no problem to get a vegetarian version! ☺️ We also used the laundry service, which was a great benefit for busy travellers, received some free fruit and got a detailed recommendation for hiking routes. The room itself was spacious and well equipped and looked exactly like in the pictures. Everyone was very nice, the owner speaks English and with everyone else we would easily communicate via Google translate. Reaching the hotel via Didi from huangshanbei station was also no issue and only cost around 15 euros. All around a great experience!

The host family is so kind, generous and friendly! The interior design of the hotel is cozy, warm and feels like a second home. Modern sleek, an artsy boutique. Next door is their in house restaurant which has a wide array of dishes, highly rec the prawn, chicken soup and veg! The cocktails made by the owner are also a highlight :) truly made our stay in Huangshan very memorable! ♡
