Estival Park Almaris

Visited in October 2026. Activities for the kids were great with all the entertainment team in particular Amberly. She showed a great interest in our 3 children. Thank you 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Estival Almaris! The hotel was fantastic from start to finish. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options, and our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The service was also excellent — the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A special mention has to go to the animation team! They did an amazing job creating a fun and lively atmosphere throughout the stay. In particular, animator Mousab was fantastic. He was energetic, friendly, and really knew how to get everyone involved and having a great time. His positive attitude and enthusiasm definitely made our holiday more memorable. Overall, we had a great experience at Estival Almaris and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We would definitely come back! 🌴☀️

We’ve had a fantastic stay at Estival Park and have really enjoyed our holiday. The hotel has been lovely, with great facilities, good food and plenty to do. The staff have been friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A special mention has to go to Luis and Sando from the entertainment team ⭐️ They have been absolutely brilliant! So friendly, funny and full of energy, and they really helped make our holiday that little bit more special. They work so hard to make sure everyone is having a good time and are a real credit to the hotel.

Very clean hotel and rooms are lovely and cool even in the hottest parts of the day. Good selection of food even for my coeliac partner. But by far the best part was interacting with Luis F from the animation team made our entire family feel incredibly welcome. An absolutely outstanding service.

We have just returned from a girls’ break at this hotel. Overall, the hotel was exceptionally clean, with plenty of staff across all areas. We shared rooms in pairs, and one pair had paid for an upgrade before travelling. However, when we arrived at Block 1, the hotel could not find the upgraded booking. We were then advised that upgraded accommodation was located in Block 2. As the building and rooms in Block 2 were noticeably more modern and superior, another pair in our group also decided to upgrade. The main drawback with Block 2 was that the entertainment appeared to be geared primarily towards French and Dutch guests. The entertainment team spoke very little English, and the evening shows and activities were not particularly inclusive for English-speaking guests. The rooftop bar was peaceful and offered excellent value. For €33, we received a bottle of cava, a large bowl of fruit, towels and sunbeds. Additional food was available at an extra cost. The main buffet restaurant was adequate, although the food was often cold and the dining area did not feel large enough for the number of guests. At times, we also felt rushed by staff clearing tables, with quite a lot of banging and slamming around us. The spa in Blocks 13/14 was lovely. However, communication was sometimes difficult, and staff appeared keen to upsell facilities in Block 15. This caused some confusion when I was simply trying to access the lane-swimming pool, which I already knew was included in my all-inclusive package. The à la carte restaurant in Blocks 13/14 was excellent. Meals are charged separately, but we felt the quality and experience made it well worth the additional cost. There are also numerous apartment blocks, including Blocks 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10, although we were unsure whether these were privately owned or available to book through the hotel. The nearby beach is beautiful, with plenty of lovely bars along the seafront and a very pleasant promenade for walking. Overall, we enjoyed our break, particularly the cleanliness, upgraded accommodation, rooftop bar and location, although the food temperature, communication and English-language entertainment could be improved.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. As a family from England, we had read some comments about unfriendly staff and the French-focused entertainment, but this certainly wasn’t our experience, so please don’t let that put you off. We never felt left out because lots of the evening entertainment was in English, and even when activities were run in French, I joined in and had great fun! We stayed all-inclusive, and the food was very good. There were different choices every day, often with themed evenings, and there was plenty to cater for our three fussy eaters. The kids sweets in the evening were also a big hit! There were occasionally queues at busy times, but they were very efficient and we never waited more than around 10 minutes. The hotel was exceptionally clean overall. The only small point we noticed was that the bathrooms appeared to be swept but the sinks and other surfaces weren't always cleaned as thoroughly. The on-site gym was free to use, which was a bonus, while the spa had additional charges, as you would expect. Our duplex room was spacious, with plenty of storage for four people and a lovely view of the pool from the balcony. All of these rooms are located on the ground level, although you do need to go down a set of stairs to reach the pool and restaurant. The beach is amazing and only around a five-minute walk along a flat path. Some days the sea had waves, while on other days it was as calm and warm as a bath! The only downside was the cost of the sunbeds at €15 each. La Pineda is a small resort, so there isn't a huge amount to do but there is a bus stop directly outside. The bus into Salou costs around €3 one way and takes approximately 25 minutes, making it easy to explore the area. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return. English guests, please don't be put off by some of the comments – we felt very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday!
