Daiwa Roynet Hotel Aomori

The hotel room was great. The view was excellent, and it's close to the station. I'll definitely come back next time. On this trip, I stayed at both the Daiwa Hotel and the Rybola Hotel. Both were pretty good, but the Daiwa offered better value for money.

The hotel is quite close to the train station, and the bathroom is particularly spacious. The front desk service is very friendly, and it's convenient to grab toiletries yourself. There's a convenience store downstairs, a mall across the street, and plenty of dining options nearby.

Not far from Aomori Station, the location is superb, with lots of great food nearby. It's super convenient to get to the product center and the port. Aomori after the start of autumn is crisp and refreshing, very comfortable.

I've always been a fan of the Daiwa Roynet brand, having stayed at their hotels in Kyoto, Kobe, Aomori, and other cities. This time, I accidentally left my iPad at the hotel. Trip.com staff were very proactive in helping me contact them, and the hotel was also very responsive, agreeing to arrange shipment after the Japanese holidays. I hope to receive my iPad smoothly.

The hotel room is very spacious, especially the bathroom, with excellent wet and dry separation. The hotel is also very close to the Apple factory and the train station, about a ten-minute walk away.

This was my second time visiting Aomori. My last trip was in mid-June. This time, I happened to catch the Nebuta Festival, and hotels were completely booked. The place I stayed at last time had quintupled its prices, so Trip.com recommended this Daiwa hotel to me. The hotel is quite good, not far from Aomori Station, an easy walk. The room was clean, on the compact side. There was a booking error this time, and while it wasn't resolved, Trip.com customer service was actively trying to help me throughout. In contrast, the hotel's agent was incredibly unprofessional in handling the issue. The hotel's service itself was excellent. The deducted service points are due to the agent.

Not bad, decent value for money, and the location is quite convenient. However, Aomori isn't very popular; it felt quite deserted on the streets, completely unlike the crowds in Tokyo, Osaka, Yokohama, or Nagoya.

Whenever I visit Japan, I tend to book a Daiwa Roynet Hotel. Over the past few years, I've traveled to many cities from south to north, and there's almost always a Daiwa Roynet. This particular one is a bit of a walk from Aomori Station, about 7-8 minutes, but it's conveniently located on the main street. We booked a Deluxe Double Room and stayed for 3 nights. The room size was perfect; there was plenty of space near the entrance to open up our large suitcases. It was a corner room, so we even had a window with a sea view. On our second night, we were lucky enough to catch the warm-up fireworks display for the Nebuta Festival right from our hotel room, which was an incredible experience. Another highlight was the massage chair in the room – that was a huge bonus for us! It was easily the most-used amenity during our 4-day stay. Highly recommend! We'll definitely book this hotel again on our next trip to Aomori.

Consistent with the Daiwa chain's usual style, the service is meticulous. If you need cleaning, you have to put the 'please clean' sign on the door before 10 AM, and cleaning is mandatory every three days. The sea view from the window is spectacular and charming.
