The endless pastoral scenery unfolds before your eyes. Along the way, you'll find rice fields, watermills, and ancient bridges, with tons of swings available for free use!!! ✅ Yitian West Street A lively market with lots of snacks, ethnic clothing, jewelry... and a bridge adorned with wishing plaques~ ✅ Yulong River banks Just a few steps from the hotel, you'll find a riverside path. Nestled against the mountains and by the water, it's a feast for the eyes with lush green hills and clear waters.

First off, I have to praise the location: it's right in the heart of the Ten-Mile Gallery, just a 2-minute walk to Wanjing Pier. The shuttle bus service makes getting around incredibly convenient! If you're driving, you can park directly at the hotel. The guesthouse amenities are absolutely top-notch. The afternoon tea and Zhuang cultural experiences were superb! I tried oil tea and handmade embroidered balls – it was incredibly rewarding. Plus, they offer a one-stop shop for travel photography. The rooms feature large panoramic bay windows, so you can lie in bed and enjoy direct views of the green mountains. The rooftop infinity pool, complete with flamingo floats, is perfect for stunning sunset photos. The next morning's breakfast was rich and varied, with both Chinese and Western options. The service was attentive to every detail. After breakfast, I just relaxed and enjoyed the scenery.

Jiyun Shangyuan (Jiyun Courtyard) has an excellent location, just a short walk to the river. The view from the room window is beautiful, and I'm so glad I chose this hotel. The staff service was absolutely on point, very friendly. The breakfast was also very generous, and booking a room even included a complimentary afternoon tea. The hotel also offers laundry service and free bicycles, which is incredibly thoughtful. I will definitely choose Jiyun Shangyuan again next time I visit Yangshuo.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Full marks for Ji Yun Shang Yuan! Choosing the right guesthouse for our Yangshuo trip really enhanced the entire experience. The hotel's courtyard is spacious and beautifully decorated. It has its own exclusive restaurant, where we had dinner for three consecutive nights. We pre-ordered our meals, and the chef would prepare the ingredients in advance, so we just had to come down at the agreed time to enjoy our food. The dishes were excellent, and our child loved every meal. Breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options, and the taste is also very good. What truly stood out was the thoughtful and personalized breakfast service: the hotel's regular breakfast starts at 8 AM, but if you need to leave early for an excursion or to catch a high-speed train, you can communicate in advance, and the hotel will prepare your breakfast, even packing it for you to take away. This is incredibly friendly for travelers. Butler service was super responsive; any questions we had were answered instantly. The service was attentive and thoughtful, making us feel truly at home and ensuring a worry-free trip. The room's view and scenery were simply stunning. Drawing back the curtains in the morning, we could admire the sunrise over the mountains and rivers. The real-life scene is far more breathtaking than any photo; pictures can't even capture a tenth of the beauty seen with the naked eye. The room was well-equipped, with all toiletries provided free of charge, including a high-quality wooden comb and comfortable cotton-linen slippers. We also received complimentary welcome fruits, tea, and snacks – full of thoughtful details. The hotel's amenities are extensive, with various board games for leisure and free bicycle rentals, making it convenient to cycle around the nearby rice fields. There's also a laundry room, showing that every aspect of our stay, from food to accommodation and travel, was carefully considered.

From the moment I booked, the butler proactively reached out to arrange airport transfers. Upon arrival, they were incredibly responsive to every request, available 24/7 to help plan itineraries and answer questions with great care and patience. This 'home-away-from-home' warmth significantly enhanced my travel experience. The hotel also offered a complimentary travel photography session, which was fantastic, with the photographer giving excellent guidance.

The biggest surprise of my trip to Yangshuo was Jiyun Shangyuan. It's truly one of the best B&Bs in China. Beyond the stunning mountain and river scenery, the service truly left a lasting impression. Every staff member had a kind smile, patiently answered all our questions, and tried their best to accommodate all our requests, big or small. The room's amenities were top-notch and very complete, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. The food was also outstanding; the afternoon tea was delightful, the Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were excellent, and the other dishes from the restaurant were also great. Their homemade chili sauce was fantastic – perfectly spicy and very fragrant. The B&B manager was so kind; they even drove us to our next hotel after we checked out. With excellent service, facilities, and dining, it was a truly relaxing and comfortable stay. I sincerely recommend it to anyone visiting Yangshuo.

Staying at the Jiyun Shangyuan Hotel during my Yangshuo trip was a fantastic experience. The hotel environment is superb with an expansive view; opening the window reveals the beautiful scenery of Guilin right before your eyes. The hotel is centrally located in the Ten-Mile Gallery, offering convenient transportation. The Yulong River is right outside, and all aspects of their service were very attentive. I also tried their hotel photography service, which was very professional and produced great photos. Highly recommended!

The butler was super responsive. Opening the curtains revealed a stunning landscape view that was perfect for photos. I fell ill for two days while in Yangshuo, and the butler even made dumplings for me and delivered breakfast to my room – so thoughtful! I drink a lot of water, and they even refilled my water bottle. I had a slight delay, and they allowed for a late checkout. Honestly, there were virtually no downsides; it was an excellent experience overall!
