The Yearn Lake Retreat (Dali Ancient City)

This hotel is incredibly well-designed, and I especially loved the lobby and courtyard. The plants in the courtyard are vibrant and full of life. The room was even better than the pictures, with excellent natural light. The blankets felt warm from the sun, which was very comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, and they paid attention to all the little details. The facilities are top-notch and super comfortable. Most importantly, it was completely quiet at night, allowing for a great sleep.

My 15-day vacation has come to an end, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. I particularly want to highlight their facilities and cleanliness. The facilities are truly excellent. The room features smart home control, allowing you to open/close curtains and adjust lighting with just a voice command – very high-tech. The bedding is high-thread-count, soft and gentle on the skin, and the pillows are just the right height, especially comfortable for those with neck issues. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, making it very convenient to use. The shower has strong and consistent water pressure, which I really appreciate. I must especially praise the cleanliness of the room; as a neat freak, I was extremely comfortable! As soon as I entered the room, I felt at ease. The floor was spotless, even when walking barefoot, the sheets and duvet covers were perfectly white and tidy, and the sink, shower, and toilet were all impeccably clean. Even the inside of the kettle was free of scale, which made my stay very reassuring. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient for transportation. Taxis can drop you right at the hotel entrance, which is something I value most because dragging luggage over the cobblestone streets of the old city is a real hassle. Having experienced that on my last visit, I specifically chose this hotel where taxis can directly access. The service staff were also friendly and courteous. I've already recommended this hotel to my friends.

My husband and I are traveling from out of town, and we both tend to be light sleepers, often having restless dreams. I also have sensitive skin. This hotel was by far the most comfortable stay on our Yunnan trip. We booked it purely based on the pictures, and it turned out to be even better than we imagined once we arrived – incredible value for money! **Location:** It's located within the ancient town, making transportation, shopping, and sightseeing extremely convenient. Taxis can drop you right at the hotel. **Cleanliness:** Very clean and hygienic. The disposable toiletries were all of good quality, so I didn't even need to use the ones I brought. The bedding was also very soft and skin-friendly. **Room Size:** The rooms are beautifully and tastefully decorated, and quite spacious. I booked for two nights; the first night was in the Banzang King Room, and the second was in the Wuhou Yuanshan King Room. I got to experience two different room types, and I was very satisfied with both. **Soundproofing:** It's incredibly quiet here at night, so quiet you could hear a pin drop, even though the lively and bustling pedestrian street is just a short walk away. **Room Facilities:** The facilities are very comprehensive. It's a smart home with a projector screen, and all the bathroom amenities are individually packaged and of high quality. The toiletries were also good and smelled lovely. My hair felt very soft after washing. **Service:** The front desk lady was very enthusiastic and always had a smile on her face.

Hygiene: The room was spotless and odor-free. Location: Just a 1-minute walk to the pedestrian street in the heart of Dali Ancient City, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. It's close to all the attractions, and taxis can drop you right at the entrance. Service: The front desk lady was super friendly and helped us with our luggage upstairs. She even gave us tips on how to plan our visit to Erhai Lake attractions. Facilities: The hotel is very new, and all the facilities work perfectly. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, a smart toilet, and constant water temperature control.

The room was spotless, thoroughly cleaned and immaculate. The in-room facilities were fully smart, which was very convenient. The ambiance was cozy, and its location within the ancient city made dining, entertainment, and sightseeing incredibly accessible.

The room was very clean, and the bathroom was great. The service was even better, a big thank you to the lady who helped us. Getting to the homestay by Didi (ride-sharing app) was very convenient. There are also lots of food options outside the homestay, even late at night.
