Residence Inn Hartford Avon

This Marriott is "standard", which would be fine in that, you get pretty much the exact same middle of the road experience in any of them anywhere. However, the receptionist was so unhelpful and passive to the point of being rude and unpleasant. And, with nothing to do but watch TV, we were disappointed that the Netflix would not work (endless buffering), and again, the "delightful" receptionist had nothing to say but that's the service we offer. Oh yeah, I rate the morning coffee a C-. Having said all that, it was clean and the bedding was fine, so it did the basics I needed it to do. I wasn't there for a vacation, after all.

Lucia and Paul were absolutely fantastic! Went above and beyond to make me and my family feel comfortable. 10/10

Staff was super friendly. 12pm checkout. They accommodated us with baby crib and the room was very spacious. Excellent service and very helpful staff

Everything was perfect beginning with a clean and comfortable room, friendly staff - especially Taylor making sure our breakfast was fresh and exactly what we prefer.

The heat did not work. It only blew cold air. The toilet seat was dirty with dried pee. The back of the toilet had loose hairs. The baseboard moldings had an inch of dust and grossness. The shower ledges were not clean - also dusty. The carpet needs to be refreshed in appearance and scent. No shower cap. No bar of soap for handwashing. Never. Again. Food was midrange at best.
