Nova Skyland Hotel

If you're staying in Santa Claus Village, this hotel is new and well-equipped. The staff at Nova Skyland Hotel were very friendly and thoughtfully explained travel tips for both Rovaniemi's Santa Claus Village and the city center. When I encountered an issue, I WhatsApped the hotel staff and they promptly arrived at my room to help me resolve the problem! For an off-peak price, I enjoyed the luxurious room amenities, which offered great value for money. The only slight issue was that when I booked, I had indicated I was traveling alone (even though the room could accommodate three people). At the time of booking, I didn't realize it had defaulted to three guests. When it came time for express check-in, the system assumed I had booked for three people and tried to charge me extra for breakfast for an additional person! I hope Trip.com takes note of this, as it prevented me from checking in online beforehand and ultimately required me to explain the situation at the front desk. In fact, on the Trip.com platform, it states that for this type of Aurora Suite, the room rate I paid covers up to three people, including three breakfasts! I hope Trip.com clarifies this with the hotel, confirming whether the room rate indeed includes all taxes and breakfast for three guests, should they be traveling together.

Our stay was excellent. The hotel's location is unbeatable, very convenient for getting around and exploring Santa's village. The cabin was beautiful, with top-notch amenities, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – it even had a sauna! All of this made for a wonderful few days. The breakfast was truly exquisite, with high-quality and varied products. We also want to highlight the staff's kindness: both the reception team and the breakfast attendants were consistently attentive, warm, and eager to help. I especially want to commend Gonzalo, who gave us a very warm welcome and was always there to assist us. Without a doubt, this is a place we would return to and 100% recommend.

This Nordic-style cabin was brand new and impeccably clean! The only minor issue was that the shower drain was a bit slow, causing some water to seep out from the glass partition, but it's a small detail that doesn't detract from an otherwise very satisfying stay. The large window on the first floor offered a stunning view, and the glass even had beautiful ice crystals on it. The hotel is just a three to five-minute walk from Santa Claus Village. An Uber from the airport cost only 10 euros, which was incredibly convenient! The breakfast was also delicious. While the selection was the same every day, the variety and taste were excellent. I would definitely choose this place again!
