Lavana Hotel Chiangmai

I was quite disappointed. The fluctuating shower water temperature and the lack of power outlets by the bed are enough reasons to avoid this place. The service was very good, and sometimes there were even Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk. The hygiene was also quite average; I found the bed sheets a bit dirty on the first day of check-in. The shower water issue was just ridiculous. Halfway through a hot shower, you'd get five minutes of cold water. It was so frustrating; even in the tropics, there's a risk of catching a cold! Breakfast was decent, enough to fill you up. The location is good, right next to Wat Phra Singh, with plenty of pharmacies and restaurants nearby. Due to a flight delay, I extended my stay for one night on the spot, and it was actually half the price of what I would have paid through Ctrip... For the hotel's direct price, it's fine, but for the price Ctrip charges, the facilities are definitely not okay.
