Astan Hotel Galata

The location is excellent, within walking distance of the main attractions. The hotel has an elevator. The room was cozy; we stayed in November, turned the air conditioning on high, and there was good hot water pressure (the shower has a thermostat). Breakfasts were served on the terrace, filling and delicious.

We stayed in June from June 11th to 16th. The hotel's location is generally convenient, close to the Galata Tower and the tram stop. However, it's on a hill, and the stairs are very steep, making climbing back up after a day of exploring a bit uncomfortable. The hotel is averagely clean; the cleaning lady probably cleaned the room once (the trash wasn't taken out the entire time). Breakfast is advertised as starting at 8:30, but you'll be stuck waiting there before 9:00. Overall, the hotel is not bad, but I wouldn't stay there again. The breakfast terrace is definitely my favorite. Bakhtiyar at reception was very helpful with checking in and paying with my card, for which we're very grateful ☺️

Great place, I liked this area best in Istanbul. The suite was spacious and upscale, and the staff answered all our questions quickly. The room was a bit stuffy, and the towels weren't very white.

Dirty. I was very upset. Broken mirror, terrible sewage smell in the bathroom. I didn’t even dare to take a shower, as traces of the previous occupants were visible. The broken safe was fixed after check-in. Well, such a place. If you don't want to ruin your trip, find something else.

Отель очень понравился, вежливый, приветливый персонал. Находится в 5 минутах от Галатской башни, рядом много сувенирных магазинов, супермаркет, кофейни. Брали суперлюкс на двоих, очень просторный номер, с мини балкончиком. Ремонт нормальный. Единственный минус, что в апреле полы были очень холодные, на ночь включали обогреватель и пришлось купить тапочки. Уборка вроде нормальная, особо не находились в номере, поэтому убирать было нечего. Завтраки хорошие, на веранде, помимо закусок можно попросить омлет, яичницу или просто отварные яйца. Когда выезжали из отеля на ресепшене помогли связаться с трансфером, взвесили нам чемоданы, а так же спустили вниз чемоданы. Отель находится на возвышенности и к нему не может подъехать машины. Нужно подниматься по очень длинной лестнице. Это так же не всем удобно, но нам было нормально. Нам любезно помогли спустить чемоданы прямо к дороге и подождали с нами трансфер)
