Hotel del Mar Vigo

The hotel is located near the sea. There is a pub nearby and it is quite noisy.

Juan and Douglas are exceptional. They made me feel like home. Juan always smiling and Douglas making me the best cafe con leche everyday, after arriving from my excursions. The Hotel is in a great location. Thank you guys!

Pros: Very convenient location. Close to pier, close to train station, close to restaurants. 24/7 front desk, great for late arrivals. Did not eat the offered buffet but looked busy/attracted customers everyday! Cons: Subpar interior. Elevator is significantly small, 1 person/ride. Room smelled strange, walls in bedroom + bathroom showed water damage? Seagulls are loud in the morning, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Showers don’t have a complete door, so a lot of water spills onto the bathroom tiles.

Small cozy hotel with an excellent location. We got and incredible value for what we paid. Will come back. Gloria and Jorge.

Didn't sleep for noise. Maybe we were just unlucky with the room, but our one night in Vigo was an expensive disappointment. All night long the sounds of water pipes, flushing toilets, doors closing, conversations, all taking place seemingly in a kind of echo chamber, made sleep impossible.

Convenient location next to the port with many bars and restaurants, access to bus routes across town close by. Staff were friendly and helpful despite the language barrier.
